Third Person POV
Beca knew that her dad would inevitably and eventually find out about the kidnapping, but she knew that he would never find out about her getting shot.

Beca, now back at her company couldn't get last nights events out of her head. She couldn't stop thinking about how she held Chloe's hand, how fast she reacted, and also how beautiful she was. Of course, Beca was professional about the situation and left her contact information, which was also worrying Beca because she was expecting a call from Chloe at least two hours ago. It had been too long since Beca had left the note behind. It had been three hours. Beca had tried not to think about it too much, but the more she tried, the harder it was.

Beca wanted to repay the lady that definitely saved her life last night, but she had Miss White near her all day today. Beca's dad had instructed Miss White to watch her. Although it made no sense to Beca because she was okay now.

"Miss White you can leave me alone now. I'm fine. And by the way, I am your boss, not my father, so listen to me", Beca said trying to get Megan to stop following her. It didn't work. "I'm certain your father is doing this because he cares about you and your safety, just like I do Miss Mitchell, which is why I'm not leaving you alone. And before you threaten to fire me, your threats won't have any impact on me until my contract ends. And that contract ends in 3 years. You need a valid reason to fire me and I need a valid reason to quit, so you are stuck with me." Megan said in reply to Beca. Beca rolled her eyes at Megan's response. If Megan didn't want to leave Beca alone, then Megan would just have to come with her to Sabell Animal Hospital.

Beca was usually a confident and straightforward person when it came to talking to others about business. For some reason, she couldn't move from her car after arriving in front of Sabell Animal Hospital. She just stared at Chloe from inside her car.

Chloe at the moment was putting up posters to promote Sabell, so she'd attract more customers. Not a lot of people in this neighborhood had pets or animals, which made it a little harder for her to make money, but she enjoyed helping animals. Chloe finished posting majority of her pictures and was now on her last one. She stood on top of a step ladder to reach the top left corner of the window of her hospital. Taking a few steps back, she saw the end product of all of her hard work and couldn't hold back a smile. Taking a quick break, she enjoyed the sun shining on her and took pride in the work she did.

Beca still in the car started smiling at her smile. She had realized how creepy this looked, but had still stayed there. Miss White had noticed Beca smiling and wiggled her eyebrows at Beca. "I haven't seen you genuinely smile in a long time Miss Mitchell." Megan said. Beca put on her hard exterior looks, putting on a resting bitch face and slowly turning her head towards Megan. "I assure you, I'm only happy because this is the person that helped me escape those kidnappers last night." Beca hadn't told anyone about getting shot and couldn't risk telling Miss White either, so she improvised saying this.

After Miss White found out that this veterinarian had helped save Miss Mitchell's life, she had known exactly why they were there. Megan was about to step out of the car until she heard the noise of a phone camera. She thought it was pretty creepy how Beca just took a picture of the veterinarian, but assumed that she was just very thankful.

After Beca had taken the picture, she finally stepped out the car and started to approach Chloe. "Hi, you helped me last night and I left my contact info, but you hadn't made any attempt at contacting me, so I just came here my-". "You didn't leave any contact info for me Miss." Chloe had interrupted. Beca usually hated being interrupted mid sentence, but she decided to be more lenient with her. "I can assure you I did, but since you didn't see my info. I'm Beca and I'm the CEO of B.M. Records. I wanted to pay you back for saving my life."

"It's okay, you don't have to-" Chloe responded.

"The lowest I'll go is $250,000. My life is worth way more than that, but I would be offended if you had said anything less." Beca replied. Chloe was absolutely shocked by this CEO person. She didn't need her money, she saved her life out of human decency.

"Actually I'll propose another deal to you. I'll buy you a new place for your hospital, in a neighborhood with more pets and animals. I'll also buy you a new apartm-" Beca said.

"I don't need a new apartment or place, I'm content with what I have, but than-" Chloe responded.

"I have been lenient with you and your interrupting and hesitation, but please just listen and accept my proposal." Beca said annoyed.

Chloe did notice how stubborn she was being, but she wanted to stay here and prove that she was fine without her parents. At the same time, she'd probably have more opportunities to meet more animals if she moved. Thinking hard about both options she was given, she eventually came up with a decision. "I accept this proposal. Not marriage proposal, I mean this apartment and hospital proposal because you don't even know my name. Why would I even mention a marriage proposal? Wow okay I should just be quiet right n-." Chloe blurted out. Beca smiled internally at her blob of words. "Okay I got it. I'll have the paperwork for our deal later this evening. I will call you when it's ready, we'll meet at my company. Now what is your name?" Beca asked.

"I'm Chloe."
