Chloe's POV:
Miss Mitchell sounded crazy on the phone wow. But at least that short call confirmed she had a personality outside of her business persona. In fact, her and Miss White were probably just hanging out at her house. Also the thing about the contract, I hope she doesn't think I'm backing out... AGH why is nothing going right today??

Beca's POV:
"Miss Mitchell, stop overthinking this phone call and call her. It's been an hour. She's probably expecting and still waiting for your call."Miss White's right. She's right, but I'm just too scared to talk to Miss Beale about our contract. I know it's too late for her to change her mind about everything, especially moving in, legally, but what if she really doesn't want to move in?
If she doesn't want to move in, I can't force her to move in with me because that's just wrong and I can't have a roommate hating me. I already went through that in college.
Ugh. Why am I thinking so hard on this compared to other things?
Chloe's POV:
That's weird. It's been about an hour since I called Miss White for Miss Mitchell's... You know what? Who am I kidding? I can call her Beca if I want to, we're going to be moving in with each other and living with each other soon, so it shouldn't really matter.Anyways, it's been about an hour and I'm still waiting for Beca's... Never mind... Miss Mitchell sounds better.
I'm still waiting for Miss Mitchell's contact information, but I don't want to rush Miss White, maybe she's really bus-.
Unknown Number
"Hello? This is Chloe speaking." I said in my high pitched, upbeat voice.
"Miss Beale."
Immediately I knew it was Miss Mitchell. I sighed feeling relieved that so have her contact information now and she has mine.
"Hi Miss Mitchell!"
"I heard that you wanted to talk about the contract from Miss White, is that correct?"
"Yes, I actually had a ques-."
"I just wanted to inform you that you can't back out now, you're legally my roommate of the house, you signed the contract." She interrupted me, reminding me of the contract I signed.
I knew she would've misinterpreted what I said. Ugh why do I suck at getting my point across?
"Miss Mitchell, I actually just wanted to ask you a question."
"Oh?"
I stayed silent on the other end of the line waiting for Miss Mitchell to say something else after her short response to my response.
"Come on Miss Beale ask me the question, I don't have all day"
"Whoops. Sorry, I was wondering what day I can move in-into the house?"
I anticipated her answer because it took her awhile to come up with an answer. I guess she hadn't thought about it either.
"Is this afternoon good for you?"
WHAT. THIS AFTERNOON. I AM NOT PREPARED TO MOVE IN TODAY. WHY SO SOON?
"Miss Beale are you still there?"
"Sorry, I zoned out. When did you say I can move in again?"
"I said is this afternoon good for you?"
NO. NO IT IS NOT.
"Uh- Yeah Miss Mitchell, that would be great. Thank you for your time. See you this afternoon?"
WHY IS TIME SUDDENLY GOING FASTER. I AM NOT READY.
"Yes Miss Beale, I'll see you this afternoon."
