You just wanted to have some fun, and get away from all this drama. Most importantly you wanted to be as far away from Justin as you possibly could.

You: Before we start packing I just have to make one quick call.

Mom: Ok. You quickly grab your phone and go into your bedroom.

You dial the number.

Person: Hello?

You: Guess what?!

Person: Haylie is that you?

You: The one and only! I have missed you so much Marissa!

Marissa: I have missed you too! We haven't talked in ages. What's the news?

You: I am flying out to Los Angeles tomorrow! I am staying with my Aunt Kathy for the rest of the summer!

Marissa: OMG! Yay! I get to have my best friend back for the summer!

You: haha.

Marissa: I haven't seen you in almost a year. I haven't seen you since you moved last summer.

You sigh.

You: Don't worry I will be back hotter than ever.

Marissa: *laughs* I have one question though.

You: Spill.

Marissa: I haven't seen you in a while but I still know you. You do not like going to new places. Something must have happened. Haylie you can't always run away from your problems.

You: Wow. You still know me.

Marissa: Of course I do. Now what's the problem you are trying to run from?

You: I don't want to talk about him.

Marissa: So it's a him. Boy drama?

You: Yup. As I said I am coming to Los Angeles to get away from him and all of his drama. Marissa: Okay. Guess who's single?

You: Who? Marissa: Andrew.

You: No way! (Andrew is your ex-boyfriend. He was really sweet but you guys broke up when you moved to Atlanta.)

Marissa: Yup!

You: I thought as soon as I left he started dating that Ashley chick. The last time I talked to you, you said they were still together.

Marissa: They broke up like three months ago Andrew has been single since. To tell you the truth for some reason he has talked about you a lot lately.

You: Really?

Marissa: Yes! You: I have to start packing but I will see you tomorrow! Bye.

Marissa: Bye

You hanged up the phone and pulled your suitcases out from your closet. You: Time to start packing! As soon as you started packing your phone started to ring it was Ryan. (Those two months that you and Justin were broken up. You and Ryan had become best friends, he was like a older brother to you. You liked being around him because he reminded so you much of Justin.)

Ryan: Hey Haylie. You seem perky.

You: Why shouldn't I be?

Ryan: Well Justin just broke up with you for that Mandy chick.

You: I am so done with Justin. I never want to see his bony ass ever again. Ryan let out a soft laugh.

Ryan: What made you so happy?

You: I am going back to Los Angeles for the rest of the summer! I have missed my old friends so much! I just want to get as far away from Justin as I possibly can. I just want to forget everything that ever happened between us.

Ryan: Haylie you can't run away from your problems for forever. You are going to have to face them sometime.

You: Why does everyone keep telling me that? I am not running away!

Ryan: Yes you are.

You: Fine. Who cares if I am? Justin shattered my heart into a million pieces once again! What problems are there to face? I don't want to get hurt anymore.

Ryan: Just listen to me. Justin's head right now is so messed up. All of the stuff that he said it you is a big lie. He is just really confused.

You: So that makes it ok for him to break up with me over a text message? Even though we have had the most amazing two days.

Ryan: Of course it's not ok. That bitch Mandy keeps putting crap into his head, and telling him lies. You: So what are you saying?

Ryan: I am saying that you and Justin are meant to be together. You and I both know that.

You: Get to the point.

Ryan: The perfect way to get Justin back is by jealousy. And the perfect way to make him jealous his by seeing his best-friend date his ex-girlfriend.

You: I don't know about this.

Ryan: Do you want to get Justin back or not?

You: I do. But what about me going to California? I can't just tell my old friends I am coming then totally blow them off.

Ryan: Fine. Just stay one more week. If Justin isn't running back into your arms by the end of the week then you can go.

You: Deal. What do you get out of this?

Ryan: Just the satisfaction of helping my two best friends out. Justin has always been there for me when I have had my head screw up. Now it's time for me to return the favor. Also I can't standing my almost little sister upset. I saw you for the first two weeks up of when you and Justin broke up. You were a mess, so was Justin.

You: This is the last shot I am giving Justin. I am dead serious Ryan. I can't take him hurting me like this anymore. If this doesn't work out I am really done with Justin.

Ryan: You have every right to feel that way. I know this is the last time Justin will ever do something like this to you. Trust me everything will work out. I know Justin like the back of my hand.

You: So what is the plan? When is Justin going to see us being a fake couple?

Ryan: I have everything already planned out.

You: You always do. So let me guess you planned this as soon as you heard what Justin did to me?

Ryan: You know me so well. You laugh.

You: So what's the plan?

Ryan: I called Justin and asked if he wanted to double date. So him and Mandy are going to dinner tomorrow night with me and my new girlfriend. Which is you.

You: Does Justin know we are a "couple"?

Ryan: Nope. That's why he will be totally shocked tomorrow night. Make sure to look extra sexy. You: Don't I always?

Ryan: Of course you do.

You: I am going to bed. I have had a long day. Goodnight and love you fake boyfriend.

Ryan: Goodnight and I love you too fake girlfriend. *you both laugh*
