Chapter 3

Allison: That's great. We will pick you up at your house around 7pm. You: That sounds good. *BEFORE THE PARTY* You are getting ready for the party. You are not sure what to wear. You end up putting on a cute skirt w/ leggings, a purple top, and a pair of flats. You hear somebody knocking on your door, you dash downstairs and open it. Allison: Are you ready to go? You: Yeah just let me grab my phone. You run upstairs and grab your phone. You get into Allison's car. Allison: So do you like anybody at school? You: Actually this kid Nick in my biology class was really cute. Allison: OMG! I can totally set you up with him. Nick and I are best friends. Actually he told me that he thought you were cute. You: Really? Allison: Yeah. Nick is going to be there tonight. You: That's good. Um can I ask you something? Allison: What is it? You: What is Justin's problem? Why is he such a player? Allison sighed: Me and Emma use to be good friends with Justin, Ryan, Chaz, and Christian all throughout elementary and middle school. But as soon as we got to high school they all turned into jerks especially Justin. Please don't tell me that you like Justin. You: No I don't. It's just when Justin kissed me it felt so right. Allison: Justin is just playing with you. He toys around with you then just breaks your heart. Emma: We are here! All of you get out of the car and go into the party. Allison: Do you want me to introduce you to Nick? You: Yeah sure. Allison: Stay right here. I will go get Nick. *Allison goes and gets Nick* Allison: Nick this is Haylie. Haylie this is Nick. I will leave you to two to talk. *Allison leaves and starts talking to some of her friends* You: Hi. Nick: Hi You: Hi Nick: You already said that *you laugh* You: Oops. Nick: So where did you move to Atlanta from? You: Boston. Nick: Do you like the school so far? You: Yeah it's okay. Nick starts to stare at you intently. You start to feel self-conscious. You: Is there something on my face? Nick: No I just can't stop looking at your beautiful eyes. You blush. You and Nick start talking and getting to know each other better. Nick: I know this is a bit out of the blue. But I was wondering if you would like to go out on a date with me this Saturday? You: I would really like that. Nick: I am sorry I have to go. Can I get your number? You: Yeah sure *you put your number in Nick's phone* Nick leaves. Allison yells to everyone: Let's play 7 minutes in heaven. Everyone gets in a circle and sits. Allison: Everybody's names are written down on a slip of paper. I am going to draw two names from the hat. *picks a slip of paper* Justin *picks another slip of paper* and Haylie. You: Oh just great. You and Justin go into the closet. Justin: So what do you want to do for the next seven minutes? *winks* You: Ugh! You are such a player. I am never going to like you! Justin: Stop lying to yourself. Just admit it you like me. You: No I don't! Justin: I know you like me. Can we go out on a date Friday! You: No! Justin: Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. You: Fine! I will go if you shut up. Justin: It's a date then.
