Chapter 9- How could you

Ashley's POV

As I was in the bushes I see Mitch run after Alison and saying that he loved her. From that moment my heart broke into pieces.

After Alison and saying that he loved her. From that moment my heart broke into pieces. When Mitch walked away I knew it was a perfect time to make my move, Alison stood there in shock. I never really liked her, once Mitch told my about her over skype, I knew she was only a distraction.

I turned Mitch around and fireworks and all those crazy bomb things in your stomach, yeah it was there and I was a happy little penguin.

Mitch's POV

I was in shock how could she do this to me?!

"Ashley!, What the hell is wrong with you?!" I yelled at her. I see Alison run to the my house.

"Mitch, I- I- I like you and I have always liked you, once you told me about Alison I just felt, broken, so I decided to kiss you and get it over with no I do not have feelings for you anymore, I'm just really glad I got that off my chest." She said in a sorry tone.

"Look, I forgive you but you gotta say all that to Alison." I waved my arms while saying all that.

She nodded and we went back home.

"Uh Mitch.." She started. "Did you feel anything during the um- the kiss?"

To be honest I didn't know how to respond to that, rather to be honest or dishonest.

"Well I guess you can say I felt something, I felt anger. How could you do this Ash." I said.

All I could see was the sadness in her eyes, "PRESTON STOP!" someone yelled, and everything went black.

Alison's POV

I ran to Mitch's house to get some comfort from Mjay. As I knock the door Preston opens it up. As I walk inside I asked "Where is everyone?"

"Oh they went somewhere with Mjay I just thought they needed to bond with her" Preston said.

"So what are you doing here, I mean like without Mitch, wasn't he with you?" He coos

"Well..." I started

After explaining everything I cried on Preston's shoulder.

"Oh come on, don't make the cactus cry." He starts

A little giggle escaped my mouth.

"Look let's go to Mitch and tell him he had made a big mistake. okay?" He says.

I nod my head. As we go outside we see Mitch and Ashley heading towards us. Both their heads were down so I suspect the couldn't see us.

I looked at Preston but he was already running after Mitch. Preston's hands were already forming into a fist. I see Jerome's car pull up and I knew Mjay would be there. I pulled the door to where she was sitting and took her hand and dragged her out.

Once Mjay saw what was happening she yelled, "PRESTON STOP!" but it was too late. Mitch was lying on the sidewalk blacked out. I catch a glimpse of Ashley's eyes she was frightened and yet terrified at what she saw.

I see Preston turn to Ashley, ready to knock her out to.

"PRESTON WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Yelled Mjay.

I looked at her, like that look a best friend gives, the look saying 'I need to tell you something later'.

She nodded and Preston backed away from Ashley and ran over to Mjay to hug her. Ashley looked at Mitch, she bent down and kissed Mitch on the cheek. She then just walked away back to her 'magical' bush.
