"Daisy," I began, "Yeah?" She replied.

"I hate being here." I sulked as I saw Daisy win a Magikarp from a stall.

"Congratulations! And the Magikarp is won by Daisy Waterflower!" The owner of the stall announced.
"Karp, Karp, Magikarp." The thing chanted.
"Urgh..." I groaned slightly.

"Hey, come on, Misty! Don't be so mean to him!" Daisy retorted as she took Magikarp's pokeball. "What am I even going to do of him?"

"Train him and evolve him to Garados, thought about that?" I lowered my eyebrows, letting out a sigh.

Daisy laughed. "Don't be so sulky. You are supposed to have fun here, right?" She folded her arms across her chest.
We began to walk as the festival Street lights lighted our path.

"Mhm," I nodded my head, looking around for something fun.

Daisy kept walking as I went to a nearby public video game console. It's something like a multiplayer video game, just the players are seated right in front of each other, blocked away by the video game screen.
I entered the photo booth-like stall, ready to play a nice game.

'Welcome, Player! You are now about to play a random game, with a random stranger. Good luck!'
Read the screen.

"Ahh~ I'm getting tired! When will be there?" Bonnie complained panting.
"Don't worry Bonnie, I'm sure it'll be w-worth it..."
Ash laughed unsurely. (Lolol is that a word?)

"If I'm right, we're there already." Serena points at nearby lights.

"You... You're right, Serena! We're there! Oh how excited I am to meet all of my Cerulean friends!" Ash suddenly cheers, looking at the place Serena pointed at.
"C'mon, guys! LET'S GO!" Ash immediately started running at the Border of Pallet and Cerulean.
"Pikaaa!!"

"Wait, Ash!" Serena started running after him.
"I'm coming tooo~~" Bonnie yelled running after both of them.
"W-wait for me too, guys!" Clemont stumbles among some rocks but continues to run.

As they continued to run, Ash felt a tingle inside his stomach. He didn't know why he was so excited about going out there, but he just was. It was like, a magnet was pulling him towards it. He felt energetic but he had butterflies in his stomach at the same time, and he...
He was happy about it.

"Cerulean Lights - Water Festival!" There was a big sign in front of Ash and his friends soon. Inside the wooden gate, everything was lively, happy and gave off a soft yet fierce light.
People were standing in front of lottery, lucky draws, and food stalls along with their Pokèmon and small kids.

"What are we waiting for?! Come on! This looks lit!"(no pun intended) Bonnie's eyes sparkled and she pulled Serena's hand.

"Hm? Uwah--" Serena mumbled expressing the shock at Bonnie suddenly pulling at her.

"C-Clemont? I think we should continue going on; they'll catch up soon..." Ash chuckled at the girls.
Clemont sighed. "Yeah. What else can we do...?"
Ash nodded and walked away along with Clemont.
-

"Changes, man, CHANGES." Ash thought as he walked around the festival.
"Holograms?! Whoa!" His jaw dropped at the sight of a huge hologram Pokèmon display.

"Is this first time you're seeing Holograms?" Clemont asks. "No, I've seen them many times! But I've never seen them here;"

__

"Ash, Clemont! Look at these Pokèmon hairbelts;" Bonnie ninja ran towards them with Serena's dress clutched tightly in one hand, almost dragging her to the ground.

"I got these cute Pikachu ones! And Serena bought these Fennikin ears and tails! Hehehe~ they are so cute!" Bonnie told them enthusiastically.
"I actually really like them!" Serena smiled.

"I think so too! They look cute," Clemont says smiling at Bonnie.
"What do you think, Ash?" Serena asks.
Ash stopped for a while.

"Cute." He said in a dead serious voice.

Clemont covered his mouth trying not to laugh at his serious expressions.

Meanwhile, something caught Ash's eyesight.
"Games? Well why not?" Ash thought.

He goes inside the little booth.
"Welcome, Player! You are now about to play a random game, with a random stranger. Good luck!"

Misty's POV

My head ached. This game really plucked on my strings. "GAH! For the hundredth time! I win! HAHAHAA--"
I celebrated my win. And then I suddenly thought about Daisy.
She must be waiting. And she must be furious.
Oh sh*t.

I prepared to run out of the booth as fast as I could, but a figure caught my attention.
My heart skipped a bit. My vision became blurry and a shiver ran down my spine.

His face lit up.

Yes, him.
