Narrator's POV

Ash groaned. Nobody ever beats me, he thought. He was intimidated by the person sitting in front him. He didn't have any idea who it was,but they were probably some of those gamers who always top in everything.
My money's wasted, he thought.
He got up from the small seat, and pushed the little door. He could hear murmurs of people around him and light suddenly shot in his eyes.
"Whoa..." He muttered.
"Ash!" He heard a familiar voice squeak tinily ( is that a word?).
It was Bonnie, along with Serena and Clemont.
"O-oh, Hey everybody." He said awkwardly.
Serena folded her arms. "Why did you go so suddenly?" She asked suspiciously. "Thank God Clemont saw you coming here," She said in a softer tone.
Ash turned his eyes to Clemont, who was standing there just listening.
"Uh... y-you kinda left Pikachu behind... so he's mad now, I guess?" He said, his hands behind his back.
Pikachu appeared from the back of Clemont's bag, standing on his head now. He stood in a combative position, his red cheeks sparkling, his teeth gritted together. In short, looking upset. Really bad.
"Pika..." He growled from his gritted teeth.
"Uh-oh..." Ash reacts as he starts to slowly back up. "I'm sorry, Pikachu..." He stutters, clearly afraid of his cute little Pokèmon buddy. He remembered when Pikachu electrocuted him for the first time.
Ash hugged himself, being defensive.
"...CHU!!!" Pikachu roared as he jumped from Clemont's head to Ash's body, electrifying him.
Ash let out few coughs. He was all covered with light soot. With every breath he took, he inhaled in some soot, making him cough like crazy.
Ash sighed. He turned his gaze, still miserable and soot-covered.
He looked at the gaming booth stall. A familiar figure emerged put from the doors.
Feiry red hair, the same turquoise eyes, and the same pretty face---
Could it be...
"M-Misty?!" Ash's said, his heart hammering softly enough to be felt.
She froze. Jaw-dropped, she looked at Ash.
"What are you doing here, Ash?! And what's all this?! Did Pikachu electrify you again?" She chortled.
Even after her little giggle, she still seemed surprised.
"Ah... don't mind this," said Ash, as his eyes automatically peered down. Then he brushed off some soot off his clothes and cheeks.
"And yes, Pikachu really did electrify me, cuz I apparently left him," He giggled.
Understanding the situation, Misty tried not to laugh by clapping her hands on her mouth. "Excuse me," She said trying to hold in laughter. She inhaled and exhaled, and paused for a second.
"Where's Pikachu?" She asked eagerly. Pikachu appeared to be near Ash's ankles. He looked at Misty and his eyes twinkled.
"Pika!" He screamed in joy and jumped at Misty. Luckily she caught him, and now Pikachu was in her arms.
"Looks like you've got company, Ash?" She says smiling and looking at Clemont, Bonnie, and Serena.
"Oh, yes! This is Clemont, Bonnie and Serena." He says, gesturing to each of them with his hands.
They all waved at Misty sweetly. Misty did they same.
At this situation, Misty had a lots of questions to ask.
"But seriously though, what are you doing in Kanto?" Misty asked curiously.
"Vacation time!" Grinned Ash cheerfully. "My friends are staying here, too!"
"That's great!" Giggled Misty. "Make sure to show them all the pokemon here, and also show them Professor Oak's lab!" She says, holding up a finger.
His smile widening, Ash says, "I've got everything planned!"
This was the first time that Serena, Bonnie and Clemont saw Ash slowly turn childish.
Misty however, rolled her eyes.
Suddenly, someone's phone ringed loudly. People passing by looked.
It was Misty's phone.
Alerted, Misty takes out her phone.
She looked like she was asked to touch a bug pokemon.
She went purple. And she choked.
"It's Daisy!" She whisper-said. "I'm dead!"
"Why, what's the matter?" Ash looked puzzled.
"I've got no time!" She said, this time a little louder. "Bye guys, but I swear this isn't goodbye!" She said awkwardly, and ran to the opposite direction, without picking up her call.
"So, she's Misty?" Says Serena.
"She's really pretty!" Bonnie follows Misty with her eyes.
Ash half- smiled. It was night already. He looked up at the sky.
"We should get going," He said, still smiling.
After reaching home, everyone ate very little dinner, since they had enough corndogs, cookies and tacos at the fair - except for Ash - he had spent all the time gaming with Misty. He hoped they'd do this again, but this time, face to face.
He happily nibbled on his steak, when he suddenly thought of something.
Where's Pikachu?
