Arielle Gold is a Jewish American that was born 4th of May, 1996 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She has a older brother named Taylor who was also a snowboard Olympian. She was born to Patty and Ken Gold, and coached by Mike Jankowski. In 2012 she won the gold medal in the halfpipe at the FIS Junior Snowboarding World Championship. After a snowboarding accident she had to change her mind set on snowboarding. She said sometimes she want to know why she was even doing the sport but she remembered how much she loved snowboarding and horse riding.
