Life has it's ups and downs. Simple as that. Everything I once had, everything I took for granted, everything I cherished gone.

Including my family.

I grew up just me and my mom. My father left us when I was born, and I grew to accept that. My mom treated me as any child wished to be treated though. She loved me more than anything she had ever loved.

As I grew up, she always told me she would love me forever.

Stay with me forever.

Forever however, didn't last very long.

Oh believe me, being the naive young girl I was, I believed her. I believed she would love and stay with me forever. Her love for me was and is eternal, her presence however, is nonexistent.

The night of my 18th birthday, she took me out to dinner, and it was lovely. We had a splendid time, just the 2 of us. Just how we liked it. We strolled in the park, and it just made the night perfect. I was so happy I could burst.

A certain man however, a man I shall never speak of even if he is related to me, decided that her life was not worth living. That man, my father, shot her. He shot my mother. He shot his wife, regardless he left her, he shot the woman he vowed his life to. Right in the head.

By the time an ambulance hit the scene, it was far too late. Not only had my mothers life been taken by that vile man, but he fled the scene. Never to be seen again.

Now all I have left of my mother is the cherished necklace she wore every day, which has not once left my neck since the day she died.

Life definitely took a nosedive deep into pain there, but I was never known for someone who would stay down very long.

Sure I mourned months. I missed my mother more than anyone who tried to help me could understand. She was my very best friend, and my life was rocky after she left. Life tended to get better though, and here I am now.

I live in an apartment, with 2 of my closest friends. We love each other like family, cause each other is all we got.

Don't think of us as a bunch of girls who sit around frowning though. We're the group of girls you will see never stop smiling. Because of all of our sorrow, our misery, our pain, we learned that life is worth living with a smile on your face. We are living the lives we always dreamed of.

We are as happy as you can possibly be when you have lost your loved ones, and can always have a good time. Just Cassie, Hope, and I.

Well I most definitely haven't written in a while. Felt good to write this!

I know you're probably like,"where is one direction?" They are gonna get incorporated in either chapter 2 or 3. Depending on what direction I wanna steer this story into.

I'll try to post as I can this week, just school ends next week so I'll be busy till then, then I will have time to write.

Hope you enjoy the story, know it seems sad right now, but the comedy will kick in fast believe me.
