第 1 章 - First Sight

Ming Leng pov

I froze on my spot watching Ai Lee struggle to walked along the hallway. I just stand behind her watching her, trying to encourage her, keep taking those painful step.

Her right hand was press on the wall as her weak legs taking a step one after another. I marched in her direction and walked beside her slowly. She stop to looked at me.

"Are you alright?" I asked in my small voice.

"Get lost..!" She hissed like always.

I ignore her cold shoulder as we walked side by side with my eyes sometimes steal a glance on her face.

She has blue eyes with grey hair.

My reflect move instantly when she almost stumble forward. I caught her in my arm. Our sudden skinship made the blood in me boiling.

"Are you hurt?" I check on her imediately after I help her to regain her stand again.

She stared at with her cold eyes, fill with hatred.

"Let me carry you. Where're you going?"

She shook her head as her hand pushed my gripped away from her waist. She was trembling.

"I'll get the physic---"

"No need. I'm fine." She spoke in her low poisonous tone.

Its rare to hear her voice because no matter how much I'm starting conversation with her, she rarely replied.

"Are you sure?"

"Get lost..!" Her voice raised another octave as she slowly walked away from me.

"Ai Lee.." I tried to help her but her murderous glared shutted my movement.

Why does she hate me?

"Xiao Leng.." I turned around and met Yue jie grief eye. "Let her be.. you understand right?"

I nodded weakly as my eyes watched her until she turned by the corner, disappeared from my sight. I fake a smiled as I marched, chasing Ai Lee secretly. I saw her step in the kitchen and I watched her by the door. She sat by the dinning table to eat. I brave myself to sat along with her.

And like always, she ignore me.

"Are you alright?" I asked her.

She stared at me for a moment then remove her sight from my eyes. She lowered her head, ignoring my question, stiring her bowl of rice that place in front of her.

She was struggling to held her chopstick with her trmbling fingers. Her every small action took my attention made me stared at her without caring for anything.

"Here.." I place a piece of meat in her bowl of rice.

She turned her head looking at me with her blue eyes. That the eyes that captitave me the first time I saw her. Blue ocean eyes with grey hair. I never seen such fraigle women as she was.

"Do you want me to feed you?" I was shocked with my own question.

But watching her struggle to held that tool made me wanted to help her. I don't mind feeding her as long as she willingly to let me.

She shoot me a deathly glared before she shocked her head over my question. Then she resume struggled with the sticks as she eat bit by bit. I keep adding dished in her bowl to help her. Then she glared again toward me.

Blue eyes with grey hairs..

"Eat.." I told her in tenderness.

She was eating but I didn't touched my food a bit because I drowned in her small action. Even the way she held her chopstick also looked frigle.

I want to protected her.

"Ai Lee.." Her name rolled from my tongue.

Her fingers stop moving as she looked at me fiercely.

"Be my ---"

"Shut up..!! Why can't you leave me alone..!!" She screamed out loud all the sudden.

She shoved all the plate and bowl on the table in her furrious mood. Those object sharter around the floor. She was beyond angry.

Time seem to stop as we looked at each other in the silence. I never felt this nervous, telling what I wanted.

"Be mine." I said when she remove her eyes from mine.

I rarely heard her voice. Since Yue jie took her in this manor, we never talked properly. I wanted to convers with her but she always seem like avoiding me.

"Ai Lee.." I called her.

"I'm sorry but I'm in love with someone else."

REJECTION..!!

I lowered my head after the honest refuseal. Its my own fault for sliping it from my mouth without thinking on her site. She hasn't stay long in this manor nor did we had good relationship. Am I being greedy wanting her as my own.

"I understand." I raised from my seat and left the table.

As I walked along the hallway, I felt the rejection even stronger. She didn't have second thouht as she replied my serious confession. Who is the lucky guy? Who is the one, one step aways from me? Who is he.. making her rejected me instantly?

I leaned by the pillar as my thought keep running wild in my head. I never has strong feeling like this toward any women. She is the first to made me insane, crazily mad wanting to protected her as mine.

I want her as mine.

"Xiao Leng.." Yue jie took my attention.

"Yes.."

"Did she trouble you?"

I shook my head imediately, denie any sources of trouble. But slip when a siries of sighed escaped from my mouth.

"Want to talk about it?" Yue jie patted my shoulder made me sighed another one.

"She rejected me." I told her the truth.

"So are you going to give up?"

"She's in love with someone else." I told her the real reason.

"Oh.. I didn't know that." Yue jie also as shock as I am.

She leaned back to the pillar across me. Since she married to Lei ge, she take care of this household. I never wanted her as my brother pair before, but she's the only women success of making my brother as happy as he is right now.

"Are you going to give up?"

"I should.. right?" I sound so weak trying to convince myself.

Yue jie sighed a big one with her hand waving in the air. "Ai Lee having a hard time right now. Give her times to adjust herself. You sudden desire wouldn't make things easier for her."

"I should do that right?" I need support.

"You could do that right?"

I sighed again and Yue jie patted me once more time on my shoulder. She was smiling trying to cheer me up. I return her smiled before she decide to leave me alone. As I stood there watching at the dark sky, Ai Lee blue eyes occupied my mind.

I really want her.
