The remnants of dark human souls, these creatures are ancient forms that only manifest after a person is completely destroyed by pure deviation and evil. They resemble their former bodies slightly, but are putrid and rotten in the skin, which makes them vulnerable to bright light. They can be distracted by hearing a name of a family member in their past life, but cannot be killed. They die eventually once their bodies are completely broken down and they can be absorbed back into the earth.

Wraiths and Ghosts:

Both creatures of the dead, they maintain similar abilities

Both creatures of the dead, they maintain similar abilities. While Ghosts can cause havoc in-between planes, Wraiths can draw power from the living, occasionally killing in the process, to possess more power.

Shadow Mastiff:

Large dogs the size of small horses, these creatures have the contorted faces of the loved ones of their preys faces. Inhabiting the shadow swamps, they stay away from direct sunlight as it may inhibit their abilities. However, they are heavy sleepers and are only awoken from hibernation by another dogs bark.

Basilisk:

A serpent the size of a large cat, with a snake tail and the head of a rooster

A serpent the size of a large cat, with a snake tail and the head of a rooster. This little creature can kill with its gaze, but cannot fly or run extremely fast. If a human does encounter this creature, avert your eyes and do not move for they see much like a snake and will only spot you if you're moving.

Djinn:

Created out of fire and smoke, this spirit can be conjured for assistance, but is the master of trickery

Created out of fire and smoke, this spirit can be conjured for assistance, but is the master of trickery. They take on many shapes and forms but always inhabit relatively abandoned or remote locations. One must never make a wish, even a joke of one, near a Djinn, for if it hears you it will bind your soul. Once bound, it may feed on you for blood whenever it likes as long as it has fulfilled the wish spoken. Origins of the phrase 'be careful what you wish for' are most certainly tied to this dark creature.
