Chapter 4

I hope you enjoy :) it is my favorite chapter so far because of the song in it!! it might be old but it is one of THE BEST songs i've heard and that's saying something ;) so when you see the A/N i've put in the story PLEASE listen and do as it says.

I was in a freaking limo!!! I’m so happy!! I know I sound weird but the only way I’ve been getting around for the past year in by walking. I looked over at Liam who smiled at me.

“Sir we are here.”  The driver said. Liam nodded to the boys and Niall opened the door. Suddenly the quiet car filled with thousands of screaming girl’s voices. All the boys but Liam climbed out of the limo.

“Stay close.” He ordered as he helped me out of the car. As we walked down the narrow walkway that security had cleared, the girls screamed the boy’s names, asked for photos and autographs and shouted some not very nice things at me. I know that they had no idea who I am but they still hurt. Liam must’ve picked up on that because once he finished the autograph he was doing he walked over and placed his arm protectively around my shoulders. When we finally reached the inside of the building an arrogant looking woman walked over to greet the boys.

“You’ll be in recording room 7 today.” she said. She had fake red hair and looked like she had ducked her face in a tube of foundation. Her pencil skirt reached mid-thigh and her tight white button-down top showed a bit of her stomach.

“Thank you.” Liam said, taking my hand and leading my through the maze of doors. The boys were closely following.

“Why did you guys want to bring me?” I asked trying not to sound ungrateful.

“I couldn’t just let you stay at the apartment by yourself could I now?” Liam asked raising an eyebrow. I didn’t want to sound ungrateful so I kept my mouth shut and walked. When we reached the recording studio I smiled, this was my dream come true! Even though I wasn’t going to be singing, just being here accomplished my dream. The boys waved at the guy who sat at a table with lots of buttons and walked into the recording room. I decided that I didn’t want to get in the way so I sat down on the lounge and started to read one of the newspapers on the coffee table in front of me. I was half way through the second page when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

“Do you want a turn?” Liam asked.

“You guys only just started!” I exclaimed causing him to laugh.

“I know but Louis had burritos this morning and let’s just say that he won’t be back for a while.” He explained as his lit up with humour. I smiled and stood.

“Sure!! What do I do?” I asked nervously.

“Just walk in and we’ll tell you what to do.” He smiled encouragingly as did Niall, Zayn and Harry. I took a deep breath and walked into the room. It was grey with a microphone in the middle.

“OK, what song do you want to sing?” Niall asked I thought about it for a minute.

“Can I please do a duet?” I asked nervously. I wanted someone in here with me. I felt kinda nervous standing in the middle of the room by myself.

“Sure! Liam get in there!” Harry exclaimed, I think there was a double meaning to those words. Liam blushed and walked into the room.

“What song?” he asked. I thought about it.

“Stumblin’ in by Suzie Quatro!” I exclaimed. It was my favourite song and I’ve always wanted to sing it, but I’ve never had a friend who could sing well.

“Hey Jules!! Stumblin’ in by Suzie Quatro!” Liam yelled to the guy at the desk.

“No need to yell Li!” The guy I’m assuming was Jules, said into the microphone on the other side of the wall. I hid my laugh with a cough. Liam blushed but shook it off.
