Chapter Three- At The Apartment

I'm so scared I can't sleep what if he knows where I live? Was I the one he was trying to get the attention of? Oh god, I heard something open the window I jump up and shake Spencer's peaceful body till he awoke along with what sounded like silent footsteps slowly getting closer. Spence had grabbed me firmly to stop me from shaking the unsub had obviously been playing cocky because I am depressed and Spencer may be very well educated but Physical Activity is not his forte, but it is for me then he speaks some rational sense to me "Just grab your cell and tell Hotch he's here alright" but that wasn't all "Can he hear us right now Sam?" I couldn't say a thing I was so aghast to this situation so he asked me a second time, "Can He Hear Us Right Now?" he said in a more ghastly tone I still couldn't speak all I could do was nod and glare into the mirror hoping not to see someone standing there once I blink. I guess Spence is a mind reader because he had ran up from the bed slammed the door shut and locking it firmly and shook the door a few times to confirm with me that it was indeed locked, then we both heard it pounding not at the front door but on the bedroom he was angry at me and Spencer for not letting him in the kids oh god not the kids... No NO, he began to laugh so sinisterly He. Had. Killed. Them. Oh god I quickly grabbed my cell phone and dialed not Hotch's number but Gideon's he answered asking me why I was calling so late in the night then I had told him to keep quiet as I let him listen to the even more harder pounding on the door Gideon was shuffling to get up and told me that him and the rest of the FBI and SWAT team are on the way before he hung up I had told him what he had done to the two children Gideon told me not to stress over something that I had no control over and that was the unsubs actions and choice, not mine I agreed and hung up.

There here, then the pounding had stopped and loud banging on the dining room table and chairs being flipped or knocked over then the bookshelves and books sounded like they were next he then began to talk not to me nor the two dead kids that he said were gonna be his new 'Family' but to Spencer and how he is so weak and pathetic for locking the door and how Maeve would be disappointed by how he is sleeping around with another woman we don't say a word as of right now our friends are coming to arrest this maniac as he continues his little rampage. Then he stops he runs towards the door shoving himself into it he begins to scream "YOU CALLED YOUR FRIENDS DIDN'T YOU? DIDN'T YOU?" he kept trying to taunt me and Spence as he begin to say how we had failed to do our job of protecting those kids that's when I couldn't take it anymore I began to sob while I stood up going to open the door to my reluctant fate my knees are locking and my legs wobbling that I fall and curl up while Spencer comforts me. Then I hear a gunshot *BOOM* someone falls He's..They."He's gone now" I hear Morgan say from outside the door "And the kids their.."I scream and begin to cry harder I feel Spencer letting out tears and holds me closer to him as we both are like those two kids when they saw their parents die right in front of there innocent eye's. Spencer gets up to unlock the door to see Hotch, Gideon, Morgan, JJ, and Emily there I'm still curled up and trying to not cry, Spence says if you cry too much you'll get yourself sick but I couldn't help it the disgust of what he had done was dreadful those poor kids and families they didn't deserve to suffer. Morgan knelt down next to ask me if I could get up so I turn over and reach up to him and he grabs my arm gently and helps me up for me to be able to sit down on the bed.
