Pained & Damaged - Romance

*I decided to combine these two books together since they're in a trilogy.

Summaries/Descriptions: *The summary contains spoilers so if you haven't read the first book, then go read it first! I did a review on it. It's called Bullied. 

Pained (Book #2)

Two months have passed since the day I pushed my longtime bully, Hayden Black, away. Two months since I have found out he loved me and wanted to be with me. Two months of trying to move on and forget about him. 

 Hayden almost died saving me from getting killed two months ago. Half of me wanted to forgive him for everything he had done, screaming at me to give him another chance. The other half prevented me to do that, distrusting him and ignoring my heart's desires. Hayden is dark and dangerous, but as the days pass by, he gets more away from me, ignoring me whenever our paths cross. 

I have less than a year before I go to college, and I won't see Hayden ever again. I have to believe I will get over him and move on with my life. I have to believe in my future without him. 

Unless he didn't really move on and our masks are about to fall.

Damaged (Book #3)

Ten days have passed since the day Hayden got into an accident. Ten days since he went into a coma and started fighting for his life. Ten days of hoping for a miracle to save him and bring him back to me.

Hayden almost died when a car hit him. Half of me was conquered by despair and sorrow. The other half was permeated with hope, for only hope and faith in Hayden could help him survive and recover. Hayden is dark, pained, and damaged, but as the days pass by, I'm more determined to fight for him despite the hurdles on our way.

I have to believe that when he wakes up, there won't be serious consequences. I have to believe that we will overcome all obstacles and become stronger together.

After all, we are both damaged and each other's salvation.

My Opinion on Both Stories: 

I love this series so much! Sarah and Hayden's relationship is so good. I can tell you truthfully that I accidentally read the Damaged summary before I finished Pained so it spoiled the book for me. :( It didn't change my opinion on the trilogy though. I also love the spin-off ideas. I will definitely be reading those when they are published/completed. I would say that Pained and Damaged weren't as eventful and conflict-filled as Bullied, but I can't blame the author. It is really hard to try and keep a series interesting. Other than that, I loved the trilogy as a whole and would definitely recommend it. 

A/N: I'm really sorry for not uploading more! Life has been hectic and writing has just not been something I wanted to do. Anyways, I finished this trilogy a while ago but never had the time to write a review.
