Hiyo! I have another chapter coming at you. In all honesty, I felt as if updating randomly was going to throw me off, but I managed to set my calendar up to alert me when I need to update. It wasn't much work or anything. I was just too stubborn to actually organize myself. But, other than that, please vote and comment! Enjoy!💕

(Y/n) POV

I was awoken to the sound of two obnoxious women going at it right outside. As much as I wanted to see who was arguing and whether or not it would be a worthy fist fight, I was too tired to get up and sneak a peak.

Last night was a tragedy. Although Chris had cleared everything with me in the morning, I couldn't help but still feel pained.

Besides, he saw me while I was a complete mess. For the second time. But this time up close. This time, however, he was trying to calm me down. And even though it was calming and I could hear a sincere and apologetic tone to his words, it still felt like he was forcing himself.

I lay there for a few more minutes before deciding to get get out of bed. I slipped on a fresh outfit and walked down to the dinning hall.

"Oh (y/n)! Thank God you're awake! I was so hungry!" Owen cried. He ran up to me and grabbed me by my shoulders, pulling me into a hug. I was getting crushed to death. "O...w....in.....ca...n't...brea...th...." He immediately let me apologizing continuously as I walked into the kitchen.

"Wait," he called to me, lightly grabbing my shoulder this time. "What's wrong with you eyes?" I gave him a concerning look as I reached for my eyes. "They look a little swollen. And really red." I immediately covered my eyes and shouted, "It's only an allergic reaction. I must have been bit or something. Could just be pollen." Everyone nodded their heads as I headed off into the kitchen.

I decided to do something different and made fried rice. I grabbed a few eggs, some vegetables, and a lot of rice. I threw them all in and cooked away.

As I was cheffing it up in the kitchen, Chris walked in and I didn't even notice. I kept scrambling and tossing and turning the rice until I heard my name. "(Y/n)! What is taking so long to make the breakfast. I am STARVING!" I looked over to see who the voice belonged to and sure enough, it was Heather. I gave her a sneer before answering her. "If you want food now, I'd be more than glad to cook up leftovers for you." She smiled a devilish smile, so I smiled in return. "Let me fetch that for you." I walked to the back of the building and dug through the dumpster until I found yesterday's breakfast, touching every known disease to be found in a dumpster. I gladly scooped a chunk of it and placed it on her plate. I walked back inside and acted casual, like I retrieved it from the fridge. I stuck it in the microwave for a few seconds then took it out and walked to her table.

"Here you are, your majesty," I said as I placed the plate down then pretended to princess bow. She scoffed as she looked at the others, taking her first bite. "You know, all you have to do is ask and she'll act like a lost puppy and do as you say." She started snorting, then, as I saw she was half done, I grinned widely. She and everyone else looked at me with concern. "Oh how I love the respect you give me. It's complete garbage. Just like the food on your tray. Garbage." She looked at me with confusion along with everyone else. "What do you mean," she said. "There is nothing wrong with left overs. What are you, picky?" I gave a small chuckle, trying my best to keep it to myself. "No. Actually, leftovers are fine. It's just, I don't think you understand where leftovers go around here. Once their done, their done. We throw it away."

One by one, everyone started laughing. However, Heather was infuriated. "Why you little b-" I cut her off. "Nuh uh uh. Don't even say it. It's already predictable." She looked at me confused, still mad as hell. "Here. Watch. 'Why you little bitch! Who do you think you are serving me this..this garbage?! I mean, literally! Do you know who I am? I am the daughter of blah blah blah! He does blah blah blah and can get your butt in trouble for this. This is a federal crime! I'm sure of it!" I slammed my hands down on the table and looked directly at Chris, adding an even more bratty tone to the one I was using before. " 'Where is my phone call? I NEED to call me daddy!' Or something like that, right?" I looked back at Heather. Everyone was laughing and she stormed out of the room, clearly pissed.

I remembered the fried rice just in time because if I had wasted another minute bickering with Heather, they would have been a goner. I turned the eye off and moved the fried rice over to a different eye that was much cooler. As I turned to ask if anyone wanted any special sauce on their food, everyone was staring dead at me. "D..does anyone want some sauce?" I slowly spoke as everyone's gaze began to make me uncomfortable. Everyone shook their head in unison as they all ran up to the counter, like hungry wolves. "But the food is really hot. It could burn you severely." I looked at all of them as they said in unison, "I don't care."

I grabbed some plates and started scooping some rice onto a few plates. I went to hand it out and everyone went after it. The plate went flying, hitting me in the chest, some going down my clothes. I sighed in frustration. "Alright. Listen. Ain't none of you getting anything from me if this is how you're going to act. Now y'all are all mature enough to understand patience and orderly manners. Surely. Y'all are getting the same exact food. No more or less of the next. So, wait you turn. Next time this happens, I reside from cooking." Everyone gulped as they formed an orderly line. I started filling up plates and passing it out to everyone.

Chris was the last person to get a plate. As I handed it to him, our hands accidentally grazed. This made him jump and he dropped his plate on the ground, resulting in food getting everywhere. I mean, does no one have any concept on how to avoid making a mess? I immediately looked back at him and he was beat read. Was he that pissed about me accidentally touching him?

"Chris. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I should have been more careful," I bowed my head slightly, then brought it back up to meet Chris's. He looked as if he were lost in thought, then almost forcefully put a confused look on his face.

"No. It's not your fault. Mere accident. It's just that my hand is very sensitive right now and I'm not really sure why. So, I apologize," Chris said as he rubbed the back of his neck. I simply nodded my head at his statement. A long, awkward silence followed until some of the campers cleared their throats. "S-so... Do we have a challenge today or not?" Gwen asked, half trying to ease the stress and half concerned for her life.

Chris blinked a few times before plastering a huge grin on his face. "Why, I'm glad you asked such a question Gwen. And the answer is yes!" Everyone groaned as Chris's smile only grew brighter. "Today, we will be doing a talent show!" Everyone questionably groaned.

A talent show?

I am so so sorry for the late update.  My phone died yesterday and I had no way to charge it till really late last night. I had a busy day at school, and all I had to do was add a few more sentences. So, I do apologize. Don't worry. I'll try to preplan for this event in case there is a next time.

But I hope y'all liked this. Thank you for reading and please vote and comment!💕
