It started sometime in April or so of last year during track and field season. I put myself on this diet to make me run my races better. It wasn't a diet diet I just ate more protein and wheat grains (keep in mind I was only like 100 pounds and underweight, which I still am about that). One day I was in school and I just felt really dizzy. So my doctor said to get more sodium into my diet. Eat things like potato chips, so I did and I got better real fast. I always think about what my doctor said with cheer as well do I'll eat food with sodium when I can. Then near the middle of this month. Almost two weeks ago now, I wasn't feeling well so I stayed home from school thinking I was sick. The next day I didn't feel dizzy when I woke up so I went into school, come around to 6th period I'm wicked dizzy so I go to the nurse. My mom convinces me to stay in school and stick it out, so I do. When I got home that day she had bought an 18 pack of Gatorade just for me. By Saturday it was gone and I only had 2 a day, she bought this pack on maybe Tuesday. But long story short I am sodium deficient because I did everything I could to become a better athlete for a sport I love and will always do. That's all I think you must know.
