Third Person P.O.V.
Ben carried his sister, trying to find Carlos. "Three down. Only one more." he thought to himself.
He had told Ella to never tell their parents about her spending time with the villain children.
More likely, they would keep her in the castle for the rest of her life and not let her out. He understood they would do it for her own safety, but he knows that he and Ella would have to take risks and live with the consequences. Not to mention one of those kids is her long-lost brother.
He ended up spotting Carlos, sitting on a bench, by himself. He was fiddling with his hands as Ben and Ella approached him.
"Hey, Carlos." Ben greeted him.
The white-haired boy looked up and saw the high prince with the high princess. "Hi, Ben. Hi, Ella." he greeted them.
"Hi!" Ella greeted with a smile on her face.
Carlos felt a warm feeling in his soul as he looked at the little girl. He couldn't help but feel that connection again.
"She wants to get to know you. Mind spending some time with her?" Ben asked.
"Sure." Carlos replied as Ella was set down.
Ben said bye to the two kids and left before Carlos turned to look at the little girl.
"What do you want to do today?" the white-haired boy asked.
"I know where we can go! Come with me!" Ella chimed as she grabbed Carlos' hand and dragged him along with her.
As they walked, Carlos couldn't stop the thoughts in his head.
'I feel like I know her.'
'Why do I feel this way? '
'Why does Ella seem so familiar?'
When they got to their destination, Carlos felt fear rush through him as he realized where they were.
A dog park.
"Carlos, you don't look good." she told him.
"Um, Ella, those are dangerous. They are rapid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave." he replied.
Ella giggled as she shook her head.
"Did your mom tell you?" she asked.
"How did you know?"
"Villains try to put things into their kids' heads that aren't true. Trust me, Carlos." she said.
What amazed him was her motivating words. For a five-year-old, she had huge wisdom.
"How are you so smart?" Carlos asked.
"When I was a baby, my Aunt Athena gave me a gift of being smart and my Aunt Artemis gave me a gift with animals." the little girl explained.
