A/N: The outfit below is what Ella is wearing and that's her stuffed Dalmatian. Anyway, here's a Mal/Ella chapter
Third Person P.O.V.Ben was still holding Ella, walking with her. A thought had soon crossed his mind.
'She looked happy with Evie. I might as well get each of these Isle kids alone with Ella and see what kind of affect she can have on them. Let's see what will happen with Mal.'
"Sis?" he asked her.
"Yes, Benny?" she asked.
"Would you like to get to know Mal? The girl with purple hair?" he asked again. Ella's eyes widened as she held her Dalmatian closer.
"I-I don't know, Benny. She looks a little scary." she told him with a little fear.
"Don't worry, sweetie. She'll love you. I promise she won't do anything." he reassured her.
Knowing her brother would never lie to her, she nodded.
He ended up finding Mal in the library, who looked like she was waiting for someone.
"Excuse me, Mal?" he called out, making her turn her head.
"Ben? What do you need?" she asked him.
"Um, I was wondering, Ella here has wanted to get to know you. Do you mind if she stays with you for a while? I have to take care of something with my parents. Coronation stuff." he explained.
The purple haired girl was about to protest, but when she met the piercing blue eyes of the little girl before her, she felt frozen. She soon felt as if something was telling her to accept. Sighing, she nodded and Ben smiled.
"I'll be back soon, sweetheart. Have fun." he told Ella as he kissed her head.
Ella went to Mal and sat down next to her.
"Hi." the daughter of Maleficent greeted.
"H-hi." Ella stuttered.
"So, what do you feel like doing?" the teenager asked her.
"Whatever is fine." Ella replied. She then caught glimpse of something and she got it and saw that it was a drawing of a dragon breathing fire.
"Is this yours?" she asked Mal. "Yes." she replied.
"It's pretty." the little girl said.
"Really? I thought you'd be scared of dragons." Mal told her.
"Not really. My aunt, Mulan has a dragon and it's not scary." Ella explained.
"You're different. Normal kids would be scared." the purple-haired teen said. "Is that bad?" the child asked. Mal shook her head. "Actually, no."
Ella got a piece of paper and a pencil before she was set up. There was one problem. She didn't know how to draw. Mal seemed to notice this, because she placed a hand on her back.
"Have nothing in mind?"
The young girl shook her head. "I can't draw." she explained with a small pout.
Mal couldn't help herself, as she smiled and placed her hand over Ella's.
"I can teach you." she offered. Ella's eyes widened and her pout transformed into a smile.
"Yes!" she said. Mal chuckled as she began to glide Ella's hand that was holding the pencil across the paper.
Soon, thoughts of getting the wand disappeared, as they were replaced with thoughts Mal never knew she could think.
'She's so adorable', 'She's not like other princesses', 'This girl doesn't seem scared of us', and 'She looks so innocent, yet she accepts people like me.'
"So, your mom and dad are the king and queen?" she asked.
"Yeah. Benny is going to be king. Now, Mommy and Daddy can play with me more." Ella explained.
"They don't spend enough time with you?" the daughter of Maleficent asked.
"Mostly Daddy. Mommy is usually with me." she explained.
Mal couldn't help but feel sympathy for the young girl. She realized she almost had something in common with the princess. Even though she didn't have a father like Ella, she had just found out that the little girl never really had quality time with her own father. She saw a tint of sadness in the girl's eyes.
She did the thing she never expected to do to an Auradon kid. She wrapped an arm around the girl's shoulders and hugged her.
"Hey, even though he doesn't spend enough time with you, at least be grateful that you have a father that cares and isn't not in your life." the teenager explained.
Ella smiled and nodded and before she knew it, she eyed the drawing she and Mal had done together.
It was a drawing of a pirate ship. Not just any pirate ship. It was the Jolly Roger ship. Ella smiled as she looked at it.
"Now, try one yourself." Mal suggested as she handed her a clean paper. Ella began drawing, picturing images in her head that she printed on the paper.
Mal smiled as the little girl began to do something she had taught her. The daughter of Maleficent spent her whole life stealing from little kids and babies. Now, she helped one develop a talent she never thought she would teach.
After some time, at least 2 hours, Ella had completed four drawings, thanks to Mal. Ella smiled as she looked at the teenager.
"Thank you so much! I can't wait to show these to Benny, Mommy, and Daddy!" she said before hugging her.
Mal froze as she was receiving a hug from someone who was supposed to fear her. She wrapped her arms around the girl's body and hugged her back.
Little did they know, somebody was watching them from the back. Ben smiled as he saw his little sister and a villain kid embracing each other.
'She must have some kind of gift. She has affected two villain kids so far. Especially the one who would have seemed less interested.' he thought to himself.
He walked into the library and got to the two girls before he picked Ella up.
"Look, Benny! Mal taught me how to draw!" she told him as she showed him her drawings.
"Thanks, Mal. We'll see you soon." he told her. She nodded and got her stuff ready as the siblings walked out.
She had to admit, she enjoyed spending time with Ella and hoped to do it again.
