"What just happened?"
I muttered to my self.

With another sniff of the sheets I scurried out his bed room, and ran to my room, slammed my room door and slid down it panting.

I can't believe I'm saying this but darn those sheets smelled heavenly.

My cheeks grew even hotter.

With a frown forming on my face I shook my head at the thought.

I had failed to realize the fact that I had reached my room in literally the blink of an eye.

After showering and changing into the longest dress in my closet (let me tell you it didn't even reach mid thigh), I decided to venture out of my room... who knows? Maybe I'll find something more interesting than staring at four walls.
I giggled at that thought.

My feet thudded on the cold tiled floor as I walk down a fairly lit hallway.

I slowed my pace to examine the paintings that were neatly hung on the deep peach walls. There were beautifully painted pictures of men and women, all dressed in kingly and queenly attire. I stared at the pale figures in bewilderment. It was clear that the artist was truly talented. Except... the artist was...a liar.

I was half way down the corridor when I heard Axel, and another person speaking in hushed tones. Curiosity lacing my thoughts I decided I'd snuck up to the door, and surprisingly the door was opened just a crack. With just a peek I would be on my way, I thought to my self. After peering in I almost collapsed to the floor when I saw the person I least expected to ever set eyes upon again.

With my breath caught in my throat I unconsciously started panting at the sight of the man sitting on the other side of the room reasoning with Axel.

How?

Was the only coherent word echoing through my head.

Thoughts of different scenarios of which ended with me being drained dry by this man also clouded my brain.

I could not stay here a minute longer. I shouldn't have left my room. I shouldn't...

On shaky feet I turned on my heel, and as soon as I took a step to the direction I so curiously came, I was halted by the demanding yet gentle tone of my masters voice and this time my shoulders sagged at the sound of his voice it was suddenly music to my ears.

"I know you're there, Pet,"
He said.

I slowly turned around and opened the door with shaky hands. And there as the door slowly creeps open by my sluggish movement of opening the shiny mahogony door, as expected I was greeted by the familiar sinister grin in the bat of an eye.

"Keen sense of hearing you have there brother,-" he said while flashing his fangs. -"too bad mine is much more... how do you say?... keener? Aye! Whatever."

And as I remembered his voice was sickly sweet.

Wait,

Brother? Did he just say brother?

He's Axel's brother.

Well that was unexpected.

The man's eyes met mine, and in a second I felt as if I couldn't breath.
The... same suffocating feeling, was no longer a memory of the past.

It was as if he was the only thing I could focus on at the moment, he was the only thing I could recognize... I didn't see my favorite book the was sticking out on the book shelf behind his head, I didn't see Axel staring between me and the soul less demon sitting in front of me. All I could see was my captor... my abuser.

"Ah, this one... I had failed to praise you for your bravery... that day-" he was talking about the day I first set eyes upon him... the day I first saw the coldest and emptiest eyes I'd ever seen.

-"however your fear was much more enticing and still is..." he said. And that's when I realized speech was directed to me.

"Interesting choice brother... I can see you-" he was cut off by the booming voice of Axel.

"Elias, ENOUGH!"

Elias... I thought.

Elias scowled at his brother.

"Sit here, Pet."
Axel said gesturing to a cushion beside his chair.

And like the benevolently disobedient pet I am, I declined.

"No." I said.

Not the best idea right?

I shouldn't have disobeyed him in front of his brother...

The grin on his Elias's face was sickening. He was clearly enjoying the death stares I was receiving from Axel.

And that's when I realized that some how he knew... he knew I would have disobeyed Axel. He knew I would have said no to prove that I wasn't afraid.

The door handle was the only thing holding me up now.

I was screwed.
