IT HAS been three days.

Three fucking days.

Three days where I sat in the same hospital chair next to Nicole's bed.

Three days since I've done nothing but hope that she'd be okay.

She looks tired, even though she is asleep.

Her face is pale, cuts and bruises here and there, her hair slightly messy, cascading down her shoulders.

Nicole had lost so much blood, the doctors informing me that they're not sure if she's going to be okay seeing as she almost bled out.

The thought of Nicole actually dying has crossed my mind many times before, and each time, I push it back, it hurting too much.

The pass couple of weeks I had spend with her made me realise something.

You fall in love more than once.

I'm not saying that I love Nicole, but I do know my feelings and I do know that she brings light in the darkness.

After Katrina, I never thought I'd experience these kind of feelings again, to me, Katrina was my world, she meant everything to me, and when she died, my whole world fell apart.

It was as if that day on the beach my life ended.

But then, Nicole came along.

She has a dark past, we all have, she's been through hell and back having her daughter being murdered right in front of her, and not knowing where her boyfriend has disappeared to, but still, she's strong, optimistic, she's brave.
