"Hey, what's up?" You ask as Tom calls you on FaceTime. "Uhm well, I went for a run but it started raining. I'm soaking wet. I really want to go home, but I just realized I forgot my key and no one is coming home until late in the evening. I thought that maybe you could pick me up and bring me to your place?" Tom asks with his puppy eyes.
"You are stupid you know that?" "Yes, yes I know. You've told me a lot of times before." You start laughing at Tom's reaction.
"Okay, where are you?" "I'm at the corner of the pet store." "That is just three blocks away. Can't you just walk?" "No, please come pick me up. I'm freezing and it raining really, really hard."
You roll your eyes. "Okay, I'm on my way." "Yes, thank you so much! I love you. See you in a bit." Tom says smiling.
