••Daryl's pov••
I was with Merle, its been a couple days since we left the group. I havent even spoke to him in 2 days after our fight. I was walking and he kept asking me where I was going. I ignored him and saw the prison in the distance. I'm coming back. I heard a gunshot fire and then mulitple more, I darted towards the prison. I ran out and saw Rick about to get bit and was trapped by three walkers. I aimed my crossbow and released the arrow into the walkers skull that had his teeth near ricks skin.
Merle ran over and stabbed his blade into another's head. Rick was staring at me for a moment while I did the same back. I broke the gaze and turned to a walker coming towards me. I heard a bone crush behind me and pushed the walker back, I glanced and Rick had stomped on the walkers skull.
I turned back to the infected one in front of me and hit it in the head with my crossbow. I plundged my knife in its head instead of wasting an arrow. I saw Rick and Merle running to go inside the prison and I followed. Dodging bullets flying around in the air, one flew into my arm " Ah fuck! " I yelled and held my arm tightly, I kept running and another bullet just skimmed past my face. That caused me to halt to a sudden stop.
••Ricks pov••
Daryl's back?! I thought he left...actually kinda happy. I heard his voice yell when we were running, I turned and he was holding his arm and his cheek was bleeding a little bit. He was stopped dead in his tracks, I cursed and went to him. I grabbed his other wrist and started running again. " Why in the hell did you stop runnin'?! " I yelled over the gunshots
" You try havin' a damn bullet almost kill ya! " I heard Daryl snap harshly, i sighed and shook my head. We made it to the prison and the white truck retreated.
I sighed at the sight now, more walkers were everywhere. They were filling the woods and stumbling towards the fence. This wouldnt last long...
