I broke the kiss when it got a little bit carried away, I cleared my throat and shook my head, I need to find Rick. I really do. I grabbed her shoulders and she kissed my cheek, I felt weird for some reason. She walked off and I ran to where Rick had gone, I opened the door and walked in casually.
I looked down stairs and didnt see him, I jogged up the steps and looked into his cell. He was laying down, staring at the ceiling. I hesitantly walked in and sat on the ground. " aye man.."
Rick turned his head and looked at me, he smiled faintly but I could tell it was forced " hey " he looked back upwards. I sat there for a moment, I didnt know what to say or do.
I bit the inside of my cheek and shook my leg, this silence was killing me! I heard movement and suddenly Rick was beside me, I looked at him " Hm? " I rose an eyebrow and Rick shook his head
" Nothing..just sitting. "
I looked at the door and noticed it was open, I looked back at Rick. Even if I closed the door, people can still see inside.
" aye..uh, do ye' wanna go find supplies with me? I might need help.....or somethin' " I rambled on and on.
Rick nodded " Yeah. Alright...when? " I let out a short breath and looked back at him
" Now? " I asked and stood, I didnt wait for an answer, I heard him stand and I went to my cell. I grabbed weapons for the run and walked out with a small bag, Rick put his weapons in the bag also and we walked outside. I dont know why he agreed, usually he would stay with the group. He unlocked the gate and we both walked out, maybe I should kiss him...see which way felt better. Beth or Rick? I've thought about this before but people were around and I dont want anyone knowing, I mean....they will probably down grade Rick then.
We got in the truck, I sat in the passengers side and he got in the drivers. The ride was silent and I started messing with the radio, everything was static. I ended up shutting it off and looking out the window, he stopped at a store. It didnt look so bad. I got out and went to a window, I spit on my hand to try and wipe dirt off but walkers attacked the window. I jumped back and huffed, Rick was smirking behind me.
I rolled my eyes and went to the door, I kicked it open and walked backwards quickly. About six walkers tumbled out the door, we killed them with ease. I slowly walked in and flicked the light switch, everything was dusty and dirty. I looked around and stomped on a few walkers skulls.
We cleared the store....okay. Okay. Okay. Think, should I really do this?
Rick was right beside me...this was it, its either take this moment or just leave it for another couple years..
I grabbed his arm and his head looked down at me, damnit. Being the short one sucks, I looked at him and then let go of his arm and went wide eyed when something happened.
