Chapter 6: Starting Something New

"Pulling the boxes apart is gonna cause a massive surge. I have to be there, but you guys should think about getting clear." Started cyborg

"We are with you till the end." Stated Diana

"Honestly I think we are all gonna be dead way before that. And you know what? I don't mind. It's an honorable end. But we gotta shut Steppenwolf down. Superman's a no show. You got no powers. No offence," said Arthur pointing at Bruce.

"This guy might be working for the enemy, we don't know." Pointing to cyborg

"Your tripping over your feet." Pointing to Barry

"Your too up tight." Pointing to Diana

"And Rose. Wow. She's gorgeous, fierce and strong. And she's in the prophecy with me. To be with me and to be the mother of my children even though she's already pregnant as said in the prophecy that when I find her, she will be mothering another's child. And I don't mind. Cause I already love her, and not because of the prophecy but because she's the most beautiful being I've ever seen. She has the most beautiful laugh I've ever heard and I'd do anything to hear it over again. She has this shell shocking smile that stops my heart when it's directed at me and it's addicting. And you know what I don't want to die. I'm young there's shit I still want to do. I just feel like I never really embraced the sea or the land. I've been alone my whole life. And being apart of something bigger like this. Maybe I'm scared because I'm meant to-" and was cut short when Bruce pointed at the lasso of Hestia he was sitting on. Causing almost everyone to stifle a laugh. Arthur gave a huff and threw the lasso back to Diana who was trying so hard not to laugh as she said.

"I think that was beautiful."

Arthur glared at her before walking to Barry.

"If you say a word about this, you'll meet every perhanna I know." He growled as he walked away.

"I honestly didn't hear anything after 'we are all going to die'" he stated making the situation about his sister even more funny.

Once the team arrived Bruce had already set up a plan.

" You guys get to Steppenwolf. I'll try to take out that tower. Don't wait for me, just do the job." Batman stated.

"Arthur." Said Batman causing him to turn and look.

"Go fulfill your prophecy." He stated with a smile getting a smirk in return

"Dressed like a bat and giving life advice....I dig it." Answered Arthur as Batman pulled away in the transporter. Bruce successfully took out the tower and now it was time for some ass-kicking.

Rose's P. O. V.

I don't know how long I've been trapped on top of this plant but my ass is numb so I'm guessing a while. I started thinking about how to stop Steppenwolf by myself even though it's useless since I don't have enough energy to corrode these chains around me. When I stopped short hearing a massive explosion. I looked out over the destroyed town to see Bruce's transporter plane destroying the tower, and jumping out in the Bat Mobile before the plane crashed. He turned on a signal that freaked the parademons out that they took off after him. He won't last three minutes. I found a new energy within since the tower was destroyed and corroded my chains, forgetting about the 100 meter drop I fell. I screamed the whole way down as I was too far away from plants to create a net to catch me. Just before I went splat on the ground I closed my eyes awaiting death. But found none. I opened my eyes at the sound of a chuckle. I looked into the piercing blue eyes of my savior Arthur. I smiled.

'What's so funny?' I thought . Arthur raised and eyebrow, which was sexy.

"You actually thought I'd let my future die." He stated with seriousness in his eyes."You and that baby are mine." He demanded sternly. I was shocked that he even knew I was pregnant in the first place. He set me on my feet but didn't remove his hands from my hips.
