Chapter 2

They landed in LA and walked out of the airport as Ranveer dragged a sleepy Deepika behind him with their bags. It was 7am.

"Now what ?" Ranveer asked.

"Karshima told me to wait here, because Nick is picking us up personally." Deepika said as they waited, few minutes passed by and a big black van
parked in front of them. Nick Jonas himself walked out of the van.

"Wow! Finally I got to meet the beautiful Deepika Padukone." He said and Deepika flashed her famous smile at him, while Ranveer stood there with a strange expression across his face.

Deepika put out her hand for Nick to shake but he went in for a hug, Ranveer thought he was too fond of his girlfriend and acts way too comfortably for a first meeting.

"This is my boyfriend, Ranveer." Deepika introduced him quickly after noticing the tension in the air.

Both men shacked hands and then they got into the bus on their way to the hotel.

"Thank you for accepting my offer." Nick said.

"Yes of course, it's always a pleasure to work with new people. I like to discover new things myself." Deepika said and Nick nodded.

"So... You're an actor too ?" Nick asked Ranveer.

"Yes, I am." Ranveer said.

"We had a couple of films together." Deepika said.

"Oh! That's where the love spark started." Nick said making the couple blushing. They continued having a friendly conversation until they reached the hotel, Nick told them they'll start shooting the clip at night and he will come to pick them again.

"You know, you can stay here and rest!" Deepika said to Ranveer as she was getting ready.

"I'd rather come with you." He jumped off the bed and hugged her from behind kissing her neck making her giggle like a teenage girl.

"Stop Veer!" She laughed as he was attacking her with kisses, unfortunately they couldn't continue their kissing game as the door knocked.

Deepika went to open the door leaving Ranveer on the bed, it was Nick. "Shall we go ?" He asked and Deepika nodded. Ranveer grabbed his jacket and walked out.

Nick put his arm out for Deepika but Ranveer notices that and rushes to put his hand around her waist walking her out, Deepika smiled slightly.

"Let's go babe." Ranveer said.

"Someone is a bit jelly!" Deepika said teasing him and he gave her a look.

Soon enough they were on set and Deepika was changing into more hot clothes while Ranveer was watching everyone doing their job and running around from one side to another trying to get everything ready, it was a first time he noticed this because when he's on set he's always acting or getting into the character which makes him too busy to notice such stuff.

Ranveer went to Deepika's dressing room, "you're wearing that !?" Ranveer asked amused. She was in a white crop top and jean shorts that almost showed her butt.

"Yeah, that's what they gave me to wear." Deepika said, "Am I too hot for you ?" She walked towards him throwing her arms around his neck while his automatically went on her waist.

"For me you're always too hot, but I don't want Nick to see you like this!"

"Don't exaggerate Ranveer... I always wear such stuff!" Deepika pulled back.

"No you don't! You wear crop tops, yes but not shorts that almost shows your butt." He said annoyed.

"Ranveer you're being really-" Deepika couldn't complete her sentence as someone knocked on the door.

"Mrs.Deepika we need you on set." A man yelled.

"I'll be there in 5 minutes..." She said as she went to Ranveer. "Stop baby, I'm all yours I've always have and always will be." She kissed him and they walked out.

"Okay, Nick you start singing and Deepika you like walk from behind and hug him from behind do all that stuff, you know what I mean!" Josh said (the director)

They started doing as Josh told them and they started shooting, Ranveer stood there kind of upset.

The shoot went for around 30 minutes, until Ranveer got bored and went down to a small coffee shop across the studio to get some coffee and a little snack.

Ranveer went back up and saw Deepika walking around like crazy, "Deepika calm down, I'm sure he went down to get a drink or something" Nick said to her as he held her hands, Ranveer saw them.

"Deepika!" He yelled, "you okay beautiful ?" He asked and she looked at him furious.

"Okay!!!? Where the hell were you!" She said and hugged him tight, Nick looked the couple at with his hands in his pockets.

"I went down to get a drink." He said as he hugged back.

"Let's take 15." Josh said.

They went back to Deepika's dressing room, "Don't you ever dare do that to me again!" She said almost tearing up, "my heart almost got out of place from fear, what did you think by going and leaving me with unknown people and in a country we don't know ?!" She said with anger.

"Babe, I went down to get coffee plus, you were shooting and I got bored." He went and kissed her forehead.

"Come here." He hugged her tight and kissed her neck.

Soon the day ended and Nick Jonas invited the couple to his house for dinner, Ranveer didn't want to go but of course he insisted.

"Wow! You have a beautiful house." Deepika said and Nick thanked her.

They had a beautiful dinner together, and again Nick was showing his kindness and fondness (towards Deepika) which Ranveer didn't like at all.

Deepika was in the bathroom and Ranveer joined Nick on the balcony. "I know what you're trying to do and you need to stop it." Ranveer said in a respectful tone.

"What are you talking about ?" Nick asked (acting) confused.

"You know what I'm talking about, I'm not trying to be rude but you need to stop that fondness, she's my girl and I'm a nice guy but not when it comes to my girl." Ranveer said.

Nick smirked and said, "you're jealous ?"

"Yes! Yes I am." Ranveer said with a strong tone as they both looked at each other in the eyes.

"Hey! What's going ?" Deepika said as she joined the boys.

"Nothing, just chatting from a man to man." Nick said with a smile.

"Yes, boys stuff." Ranveer said as he kissed her cheek and pulled her towards him while Nick looked at them annoyed, Ranveer looked back up to him and smiled.
