Chapter 4

The security guards kicked them out of the club and everyone helped taking Nick and Ranveer to the hospital.

In the hospital...
The nurse came in with an ice bag for Ranveer and Nick, they were in the same room getting checked out. Ranveer tried to reach for the ice bag but a hand took it, it was Deepika.

She gently put the ice bags on the back of his hand and under his eye, he sure was gonna have a black eye.

"Does it hurt ?" She asked touching his eye, he closed his eyes but didn't say anything. Her touches were enough to heal his wounds.

Deepika looked back at Nick who was laying down on the bed and holding on to his stomach. She touched under his eye and he winced, "I'm sorry, did I-" Ranveer cut her off.

"I told you not to go... Didn't I!" He said with a low voice looking at the ground, Deepika didn't dare/want to look into his eyes.

"Ranveer-" he cut her off again.

"He invited us that night when we went for dinner and I said no, why you don't listen and go with him, it was obvious as hell that tonight I wasn't there with you so he used it as a chance, are you too naive to notice that Deepika." Ranveer said.

He wasn't yelling or screaming but talking in a calm tone, which made Deepika wow but she also understood that he was hurt and sad. Knowing that he is RIGHT she should have listened to him and not to go.

"May I speak now ?" She said.

"Yes."

"Ranveer... Baby, I'm not naive or stupid. After finishing the shoot everyone clapped and were cheering then suddenly Nick shouted saying lets go to the club, and I did say no but he put me in the position insisting that I come. And then everyone followed his lead trying to convince me and I was so embarrassed that I went to the club with them, you know what kind of a person I am." She told the truth behind what happened.

Ranveer looked at her with a semi-sad-semi-angry expressions, he had mixed emotions.

"And I know that you might say, this isn't an apology to go but the truth is... This is what HAPPENED." Deepika said, making him look into her eyes.

She exited the room to go get another bag of ice.

Ranveer looked at Nick who was trying to get up and in the end did, he was holding his stomach with an ice bag on his face walking to Ranveer.

"Just know Mr.Singh that YOU.WILL.PAY.FOR.THIS." Nick said, pointing to his face.

"Sure, how ?" Ranveer asked getting more pissed.

"Let that be a surprise..." Nick said with a smirk.

"I love surprises, but don't you ever, EVER come near my girl. You got me asshole!" He pulled Nick by the shirt.

The door opened and  came in with the nurse, she saw the boys and the nurse quickly took Nick back to his place.

"You okay baby, did he do anything to you ?" Deepika asked Ranveer.

"No, he wouldn't dare."

"Good, come on I did the paperworks and paid we can go now." She said handing him the ice bag and helping him off the bed.

"Thanks." Ranveer said.

By the time they got back to their hotel room it was midnight, they were super tired.

"You okay, do you need anything else ?" Deepika asked Ranveer as she made him comfortable on the bed.

"Yes..."

"What ?" She asked ready to serve him.

"You." Ranveer said with a small smile. Deepika looked at him for a couple of minutes and then broke down, hugging him.

"I'm sorry." Deepika said, kissing his neck.

"I'm sorry too."

"You know, it was my first time seeing that side of you. You on top of Nick and beating him up, I'm scared now." Deepika said and Ranveer laughed.

"Don't be, and I'm sorry you had to see that but no one is allowed near my girl. That's all." Ranveer said kissing her head.

"Let's just forget that this ever happened and call this awful night a night." She snuggled into him, and after one more kiss and they both fell asleep.
