Hiding behind the couch Vivan finally caught her breath. It felt as if her heart was caught in her throat. Trying to convince herself she didn't see what she saw, she slowly stood from her crouching position. She cautiously looked around her newly packed home. Seeing nothing she let out a sigh of relief. Vivan shook her head at her own silliness. Of course she didn't see that. That's ridiculous.
"Aah!" Vivan yelled when she turned around. Before her stood a slightly handsome young man, but he wasn't human. He resembled a see through, pale, floating creature. A ghost. Vivan trembled at the sight of this immortal young man. She quickly turned the corner and ran up the steps, only to bump into something borad and tall. She screamed and started to pull away.
"Vivan! Viv-ow! Vivan calm down. It's me. It's Luke." A voice harshly mumbled. Looking up, Vivan realized she was punching and kicking the life out of Luke. She mumbled a short sorry, and ran into her room. Vivan had a hard time sleeping that night. Maybe it was because of the cut on her foot, or it could be because Luke kept shouting while playing Xbox, or maybe, just maybe it could be the fact that before she closed her eyes she saw a soft glow outside her door.

"Vivan! Vivan! Viva-" Luke didn't have time to finish his sentence, for he had his face stuck between Vivan's sweaty hands. She had had a nightmare that night. Luke shoved her hand off his face.
"Breakfast is ready. I made a gourmet feast." He smiled at his words. Vivan quirked an eyebrow. "Oh really? Tell me. What is on this gourmet list."
"Golden Grams!" Luke announced triumphantly, which earned him a slap on the back of the head. Vivan had a headache from what had happened last night and him yelling an irrelevant cereal name, didn't help the situation at hand. Climbing down the old stairs, Vivan finally approached the kitchen which seemed to take forever, considering her foot was sore from yesterday. She slumped into the dinning room chair and picked up the shiny spoon.
"Ooo, shiny!" Vivan said while inspecting the shiny silverware. Luke muttered something that Vivan couldn't quite catch, which was probably something rude. "How rude." Vivan pouted.
"Are you quoting Full House?" Luke questioned with an amused smirk. Vivan laughed. "It was on last night! Come on. Who doesn't love Stephanie Tanner? Let's be real here."
