"I'm sorry, but I have to run, duty calls." I lightly chuckled.

"I love you mom." I stayed there squatting for a few seconds, then smiled and picked myself up, brushing off the imaginary dust. I bid the old stone goodbye, and made my way down the path of stones.

I don't know why, but I always felt the need to look around the path and see for new stones. There had never been much since this path had little to no room for more stones.

I walked to a new path for a change. Some stones were as new as a week ago, and some were as old as a decade, but one stone caught my eye.

ASHTON IRWIN

1981-1999

Ashton.

That's a nice name. I studied the stone closely.

It was a very dark gray with some light brown coating the sides. It was cracked a little bit down the middle, and the letters were hard to read.

There was a dozen red roses that look like they were laid years ago. I had one white rose left in my hand. I looked at the rose for  minute then slowly laid it down on the ground next to the stone.

I don't know why, but I had this urge to stay.

"Hey Ashton."

It's short, I know but that is done on purpose. the chapters will be shorttttttt.

I'm not good with long chapters guys, sorry :x
