Fuli is awake

Fuli awakes to find herself in Rafiki's tree. She stretches and remembers about her back legs.
"I can move." She whispers to herself.
Fuli looks at the bite mark. It's covered up by leaves.
"Morning Fuli, how do you feel?" Asks Rafiki.
"I feel fine. How long have I been resting?" Replies Fuli.
"Four days" says Rafiki as if it was nothing.
"Four days?!" Panics Fuli.
Fuli tries to stand but Rafiki stops her.
"Hey, hey, hey, you need to take it easy!" Orders Rafiki.
Fuli rolls her eyes and lowers her head onto her paws. She watches as Rafiki removes the leaves and puts some healing herbs onto the bite. Fuli feels a petal fall on her nose and she sneezes.
"Do you like the crown I made?" Asks Makini.
"It's pretty, it looks like the one you made for me when me, Kion and Beshte were paralysed that from that lizards venom" replies Fuli.
She takes off the flower crown to get a better look at it then turns to Rafiki. "How long until I'll be able to run again?"
"At least another week. If you wish to leave today you must take it easy, so no running, no jumping and climbing. You will only be able to walk until I say." Replies Rafiki.
Fuli nods. "Are the others worried about me?"
Rafiki smiles. "Kion was coming here everyday and it was driving me insane. Yes, they are worried about you!"
Fuli smiles and rolls her eyes. "Typical Kion."
Fuli stands and leaves Rafiki's tree to go to the lion guard lair.

As she nears her destination, Fuli sees a familiar lion cub running towards her.
"Fuli!" He shouts.
"Kion!" Fuli yells.
Fuli walks as fast as she can to her lion friend and he hugs her.
"You're ok." Kion smiles not letting her go.
"Of course I am, I'm Fuli the fastest of the lion guard." Replies Fuli and gives Kion a kiss.
Kion goes wide eyed in surprise and nuzzles her.
"So how has the guard been without me?" Asks Fuli.
"Hmm, bad without their second in command." Laughs Kion.
They finally arrive at the lair and everyone is overjoyed to see Fuli.
"Fuli!" They cry as they trap her in a big group hug.
Fuli rolls her eyes. She knew she was getting a hug from them.
"Are you guys ok? I've heard that guard has been useless with out me." She laughs.
Bunga, Beshte and Ono give Kion a death glare. He just shrugs and smiles nervously as Fuli laughs.
"So when will you be able to run again?" Asks Bunga.
"In a week or so." Fuli replies. "So how about we go on patrol?"
"Are you sure? Shouldn't you take it easy?" Asks Ono.
"I will." Snaps Fuli. "Are you coming or not?"
The boys smile.
"Let's go." Says Kion.

A week soon passes and Fuli is able to run again. The bite mark will leave a scar but it's not that noticeable. For a whole day Fuli runs, and jumps and climbs. The boys were desperate to go home and go to bed after running around and playing games.
"See ya (yawns) tomorrow" says Ono.
"Yeah, goodnight guys. Bunga? Bunga wake up!" Snaps Beshte.
Bunga was sleeping on Beshte's back but he immediately jumps up.
"Hyena attack! False alarm? Ok, goodnight!" Waves Bunga as he jogs away.
When Bunga, Beshte and Ono left, Kion and Fuli were left alone.
"Want to star gaze?" Asks Kion.
Fuli looks at him surprised. "I thought after today you'd be desperate to go home and get some sleep."
"Going home means going back to my mum and dad, they've been acting really weird since Tiffu tried to kill us for the first time." Replies Kion.
Fuli laughs a little. "Ok, um...I see a rabbit."
"Look over there, it's a bird."
They continue watching the stars until they started getting sleepy.
"See ya tomorrow Kion." Says Fuli giving him a lick on his cheek.
"Bye Fuli." Replies Kion as he nuzzles her.
Kion returns home very happy.
'It's been a tough few weeks but I'm glad that everyone is ok, especially Fuli. But I don't think it's the last we've seen of Tiffu.' Thinks Kion.
