Beneath The Waves| An Ask Book Based Off Sea Serpent

Introduction

I'm going to state this right now: I expect to write all of this book not only in Third Person, but in script form. You'll see what I mean in a moment.

As the computer flickers on, the face of Professor Pikalus fills the screen. He smirks and slips back using a rolling chair, allowing many others to peer in.

Professor Pikalus: Yep, it's working. You're welcome.

Professor crosses his arms as he speaks, and some of the others begin to smile.

Cody: Perfect! I knew you could do it!

Tanith: Technology sure has come a long way, you should've seen it all those years ago, it was nothing like this.

Sam: So, they can see us, right? The people in the alternate universe?

Professor nods, getting an interested gleam in Sam's eye.

Professor Pikalus: Yep. Just as Cody asked about, that computer will allow us to communicate with others from a different universe. I'm sure they're curious about a lot of things, so they'll probably ask questions.

KrakenKid squints at the screen suspiciously, as if he's trying to see into the other side.

KrakenKid: What kind of questions? I don't know if I trust them...

Selena slaps his arm. KrakenKid yelps and pulls it away as she does, not because it hurt, but more out of surprise.

Selena: Hey, be nice! Remember, we're trying to have fun here. Besides, they're not going to tell anyone your deepest darkest secrets... Probably.

KrakenKid groans, getting a snicker out of his son, Blooper.

KrakenKid: How reassuring.

Blooper: I can't wait to learn some dirty secrets.

CannibalCrab: Well unlike some people, I'm excited. Ask away!

They all stare at the screen.

You feel as though this is going to be an interesting journey.

So for a start, I wanted to say a couple things about the format I'm gonna be using because this is gonna be a LOTTT different than anything else.

For starters, I'm planning on doing a thing were I list all the characters you can currently ask (Unless nothing is going to change for the next chapter), which yes, means that there will be new characters and/or characters that go temporarily unavailable for a short while. (But don't worry, they'll come back) Also, if the character is new, I'll give them a short description, just for the sake of if there's one somebody doesn't recognize and wants to know what to expect from them.

So, for the first couple chapters, we're gonna start out with the basics!

Characters Currently Available:

Cody- The penguin king of Atlantis. A generally good guy who runs Atlantis, but gets sensitive at the topic of his family and his mistakes. He doesn't remember much of his past, but maybe he will in the future...

KrakenKid- A young kraken who survived an attempted genocide of his kind- which is of course a sensitive topic for him. He runs the Conch Command and is considered a villain to Atlanteans. He might be slow to trust, but he'll open up.

Professor Pikalus- One of the best scientists, and also a general for Atlantis. He's got a few secrets and tricks up his sleeve, not to mention a rage mode that is often referred to as 'Hulk Mode' that makes him even more dangerous.

CannibalCrab- A crab that eats his own kind, but also a general for the Tide Changers. He's loyal to the core and a great soldier, and might know somethings about the Tide Changers that KrakenKid won't wanna say, or that Blooper might not know.

Sam- One of the Sneaky Sisters. She's the older of the two, and argues she's better at being sly. She might remember a thing or two about Cody's past that he doesn't, not to mention she does love to eavesdrop.

Selena- The other one of the Sneaky Sisters, and the younger of the two. She's got more information on the insides of both the Conch Command and Atlantis, and not to mention, she's also a lover of eavesdropping. However, unlike her sister, she might have different memories of past Cody.

Blooper- The son of KrakenKid, and a tricky one. He's always looking for something fun to do, and knows more than he might let on, not to mention if he doesn't know an answer, he might be a key to finding it out when others won't say.

Tanith- A war medic who moved to Atlantis for work. She's got friends on both sides, and magic as well. Her ability to feel the feelings of some of them might help, plus she's got a couple stories to tell.

Ace- Made of pure energy, he's lucky to have gained a body, and is considered a villian. The others might not know it, but he's free to answer questions, and he's got some interesting views and things he'll be able to say. Something tells you there might some other sides to him that you have yet to see.

Chester- An eight year old boy with strangely colored eyes (Purple) and a high IQ. He might be young, but don't underestimate him. He's looking to learn more about Ace and might be willing to answer some things that Ace isn't.

And that's all for now, but don't worry, that'll bring me to my other thing.

EVENTS. Events is something that'll happen that will change what's going on, and couple spark either more answers, or more questions. They happen randomly and could be anything. For example, one event might be body switching, Young!Characters, Drunk!Characters, or even something that'll spark new characters being available to questioning.

There's none for now, but we'll see how this goes. I have a lot of ideas.

Now, ask as many questions as you want!
