So I know it's been a looooong time since I've updated, and I know it seems like everytime I do, I reboot the beginning chapters and it's just a mess. So after a LOT of consideration, I am sad to announce that I will be discontinuing this version of Scales and Secrets.
Good news, is that I hope to start over with it at some point. I've been on a writing kick, working on not one, not two, but THREE new stories (including a very needed update to SAS).
I will keep this version of the story up because it is very special to me as it was my first attempt at writing a book. I've grown a lot in my writing (at least I'd like to believe so) over the course of the last few years, on and off Wattpad, and I hate that trying to go through and "better" the story whenever the whim strikes leaves you guys in the dust, having to reread and be confused as to poorly transitioned changes.
I hope you'll keep my little mermaid story in your hearts, as it has a special place in mine. If I ever return with a brand new story or revamped SAS, I hope to see you all again.
