Dragon Ball Generations: Chapter 1(A New Story Begins)

(Setting: Gohan and Videl's home, Hercule City)

Son.... I am going with Vegeta to train... I want you to look after Earth for me ok? I am not sure I ca- you can do it.. I believe in you... don't let me down...*Gohan is sitting in his room, having flashbacks of his father leaving him incharge of it all* Gohan pushes himself up, waking up from the dream.

Gohan would be sitting on his bed by Videl, "Argh, damn it dad... why leave ME of all incharge.. I have been weak for a while.... so what if Piccolo trained me, that won't help I wasn't anywhere near your strength..." Gohan would say, Videl pushed herself up. "You think you can't do it... I believe in you, everyone does." she said, she had repeated this millions of times, it seems that the thought of something bad happening under his watch haunts him. "your dad was always easy going, why can't you be?" Videl said, wondering that daily. "because my mother wouldn't dare allow me to be, she had this big dream I'd be the next Albert Einstein, I am just another guy who is in way over his head!" Gohan stated, he was getting angry about the subject. "Try to get some sleep please Gohan.... you are going to wake Pan up..." Videl said quietly, "your right, I am sorry Videl, its just a constant struggle in my daily life isn't it.." Gohan said the last part to himself, he laid down on their bed to go back to sleep.

(Setting: Capsule Corp)

"Videl tells me Gohan is constantly stressing over Goku and Vegeta leaving... maybe you could go over there sometime and train with him, you know help him get stronger so he feels he is less weak?" Bulma said as she entered the living room to a familiar blue-haired boy. The boy was trunks, he had gotten older, now as tall as Future Trunks, he was alot stronger then he once was, less arrogant as well. "I will try mom, I don't know why Gohan is stressing, I totally don't miss dad's total ego over training at all." Trunks said, hating that Vegeta acted like that, Bulma laughed at him. "Your father is a mysterious man isn't he?" Bulma said as she sat down on the couch. "There's a way to put it....  I still remember a time when Gohan WAS the strongest of us all... back when we fought Majin Buu... wow it has been such a long time hasn't it..." Trunks said, remembering the past. "It has, all that has happened has for a reason i suppose.... maybe Gohan can help you finally catch up to your future self?" Bulma said joking around, Trunks hated that the future Trunks was much stronger than him. "Did you have to go there mom? I think I am gonna go find Goten..." Trunks said, he was mad that his mom brought it up, but he felt he should go train with Goten maybe. 

Trunks walked outside Capsule Corp, he flew off the ground and sped off in the direction of Goten's Ki energy. "I wonder what Goten is up to... with his brother acting like the universe's fate is on his shoulders he is probably finding him laxatives" Trunks joked to himself in his head, but he was interrupted mid-thought. Off to his right, Piccolo flew up beside him, "What brings you out this way Trunks I thought you'd be off hiding from Gohan!" he said jokingly. "Piccolo? I haven't seen you in a while... I just wanna go see how Goten is doing, with his crazy brother nowadays ya know?" Trunks said laughing back at Piccolo. "I understand that, I have stayed away from them for as long as I can, but well Gohan might as well be my son sometimes.." Piccolo said with a sigh. "Well enough relaxing lets go drop by and see what dumb things they have done now." Trunks said as they blasted off into the sky.

(Setting: Chichi's home)

"Haa!" Goten threw a roundhouse kick in the air, he had been training outside alone while Chichi cooked dinner. Goten looked up, he sensed the power levels of Trunks and Piccolo approaching. He stopped training as they landed onto the ground. "Hey guys, whats up?" Goten asked, it had been forever since they had talked. "Well, nothing much, your brother being your brother, piccolo playing as his dad... the usual..." Trunks said laughing. Piccolo hit him on the shoulder, "what he means to say is, how is Gohan? shut up Trunks....." Piccolo said, Trunks snickered and looked back to Goten. "Well... he is still fully stressed I am training so he won't feel like he is alone, I think he believes since he is the one that dad told to be incharge he feels he is alone.." Goten said, worrying about his brother. "Well I guess that is Gohan for ya.." Trunks said, trying to make talk as this conversation wasn't going much of anywhere. " DINNER TIME!" Chichi shouted out the door of the home. They all decided to walk in, "Oh, Piccolo and Trunks it is nice to see you both again, WHY HAVEN'T YOU VISITED SOONER?" Chichi said angrily. "Oh boy, Chichi is no different I see.." Piccolo said quietly laughing along with Trunks. Just then, they felt Gohan's energy touch down outside, "oh boy, its the man of the hour, what on earth do we do now?" Trunks said, not wanting to have to talk to Gohan right now. "I guess we wing it for now" Goten said, they all walked outside towards Gohan. "Hello everyone, pleasant day to be destroyed isn't it?" Gohan said acting like it was doomsday as usual. "Oh not this again, Gohan we have your back, nothing will happen to earth this will all be a breeze you will see!" Trunks said in a louder tone towards Gohan. "Anyway, I decided I want to go train, any ideas?" Gohan said, which didn't surprise anyone at this point. "No, not really" they all said. "Actually.. you know what, if I can't match my dad's power I will just multiply my own... maybe I should visit King Kai..... dad did teach me instant transmission in case of an emergency I can go there." Gohan said, which shocked everyone. "what are you gonna do, learn kaioken?" Goten said laughing.  "Potential Unleashed Kaioken... has a bit of  a ring to it, Im off!" Gohan said as he put two fingers to his forehead and vanished. "wait what?" everyone said as Gohan disappeared so quickly. "Well then.. that is .. new" Piccolo said, after all he normally is the one to train Gohan. "Hm.. is the desire to really catch up to Goku that much for him?" Trunks said, wondering if Gohan might go a little to far over it. "Who knows, knowing him he might go a new super saiyan level just from hearing our mom all the time.." Goten said laughing. "I HEARD THAT GOTEN!" ChiChi said, Goten hid behind Piccolo " oh crap" he said as everyone laughed at him. "Huh... that was weird...." Trunks said as he looked off into the distant sky. "What is?" Piccolo asked him, "I thought I felt something but nothing is there ah well could have been Uub he does fight a bit in the air sometimes. "Probably so, no one knows Goku and Vegeta are away and well they are quite feared in this universe." Piccolo said looked around in the sky. They all decided to walk inside and eat the food Chichi made.. meanwhile..

(Setting: King Kai's Planet)

"Ahh these noodles are good.." King Kai said, he was enjoying a bowl of noodles, he finally got his tiny planet fixed from when Goku fought Beerus on it, yet he didn't know it was about to be ruined again. King Kai got up from his seat, and walked outside."Ahh what a nice da- AHHHHH" King Kai fell to the ground as before him Gohan appeared. "NO NO NO NO NOT ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR FAMILY!" King Kai yelled. "King Kai please.. I just want to learn Kaioken from you..." Gohan pleaded. "NO WAY." King Kai said, but Gohan refused to give up. "I will clean up any mess I leave!" Gohan said, he just wanted to be trained. " UH UH NO WAY GET OFF MY PLANET GOHAN!" King Kai yelled at him. "when my dad is back I will tell him that you wanted him to blow up his planet as a special training procedure unless you teach me!" Gohan said, thinking it'd work. "OK OK OK I GIVE DON'T TELL HIM THAT PLEASE!" King Kai begged, he had given in to Gohan's pleading. 

Hours had passed, Gohan had learned to use Kaioken, but King Kai warned him not to overdo it like he told Goku, but he had a feeling Gohan wouldn't listen. "I know disobedience runs in your family but please don't overdo it on your body ok!?" King Kai said, "Ya ya, whatever I will be the strongest now this is awesome!" Gohan said. "So you didn't come to learn the Spirit Bomb or?" King Kai asked curiously. "No I don't really care for that, I just wanted the power multiplier, have a nice da-" Gohan stopped mid-sentence. He looked up into the sky, "you feel it to don't you?" King Kai asked him. "Yes... I do and it doesn't feel good.... we may be in trouble.

(Setting: ChiChi's Home)

"I feel it... it must have been what I felt earlier, that is definitely not Uub..." Trunks said, Goten and the others all had felt the power coming closer. In another direction, came Uub. "You guys feel that I am guessing? Where is Gohan at?" Uub said, they all kept their focus onto the power levels, they were very high even from way from up there they sensed them with ease. "Whoever they are, I doubt they are here for our wonderful cuisine..." Goten said. Off in the back Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin had landed. "Hey everyone!" Krillin said, everyone knew what was going on, the moment earth might be in trouble Gohan disappeared, yet they had no idea Gohan did know of them, and would be back in time. "Well, let's greet our guests shall we?" Piccolo said, they all rose up into the sky and blasted off towards where the unknown person would land. Meanwhile, back at King Kai's planet Gohan watched the energy as it got closer to earth, then put his fingers to his head and was gone in a instant. "Good luck Gohan" King Kai said, as he went back to his noodles.
