Peasents presents

"W-what are you on about your highness there is no one of that name here"

Before Rythian could say anything someone asked him to go to the main hall, his father needed to see him. Without a word Rythian stormed off and didn't see the red haired woman run up and hug her friend. When Rythian entered the hall, he was immediately surrounded by peasants, all trying to give him there present. Somehow managing to reach his prince throne, Rythian sat down and for the rest of the evening began unwrapping the presents from the peasants, smiling politely and rolling his eyes when a teenage girl would swoon when the went near him. He found it cute when little children gave him the presents. Before retiring to his bedroom for the night, Rythian looked over at his massive mound of presents and sighed, no matter what the absent presence of Zoey didn't make any of it worthwhile. "Rythian dear, go to sleep so you are ready for the big day tomorrow." His mother said giving him a kiss on the cheek. Rythian wandered off to his room and closed his eyes the second his head hit the pillow, dreaming of a world with Zoey.

The performers woke up early to prepare their gifts for the prince, making sure they were all still intact and wrapped up prettily. Zoey gave hers to Coco and watched as the group left, chatting excitedly before making sure the stage was set up for their performance that night. It was a good few hours before she heard anyone and the voice she heard was one she did not want to hear.

"Miss me Zoey?" A voice came from inside her ear. She physically jumped.

"Leave me alone Duncan" she whispered, knowing he would hear her through the thing they had put in her ear.

"Haha never." Came the response before it was silent again. Zoey finished up quickly and ran back to her room to get changed for tonight's performance as she had spent most of the day checking everything was ready for later. It was around time for the guests arrive. Almost time for them to go on.
