Chapter 2. Mystical Desert

Two weeks passed since Shiro left the village. He stumbles upon a sea of sand, a desert known as the mystical desert. It is called Mystical for the desert is swarmed with mytical beasts. Shiro didn't know about the desert so he just started to walking forward.

An hour since he set foot on the sand. A giant centipede rose up from the sands and attacked Shiro, Shiro tried to get away as much as possible but the centipede won't give up on attacking him. As he was about to lose his balance he saw a sand storm coming from up ahead. he dives inside the sand storm and continued running until he was tired.

He fell down and lost consciousness and by the time he awoke, he see a person beside him. The person has a mask on his face. Shiro was startled and gets up immediately. He asked the person "who are you?" The person didn't answer.

Shiro noticed that his body is already covered in bondages and he noticed that he's inside a cave. Shiro remembered that he was attacked by a giant centipede. He asked the masked person about the centipede and what happened after he fainted. The person told him that by the time he got here the only one he saw was shiro lying in the sand with wounds in his body.

The masked person took care of shiro that day but in the second day as shiro wakes up he noticed that the masked person had already left. he got up and took every thing that he needed and he started walking again. as he walked he looked back and thought to himself that "that person didn't even waited me to say thank you". Three days have passed since he was rescued he stumbles upon an oasis, "yes! an oasis, better restock my water supply or I'll run out" he said. 

He ran quickly to the oasis and restocked his water supply and rested for a bit In the oasis, in the oasis there's a coconut tree that has four big and round coconuts on the ground. "Those coconuts seemed to have fallen to the ground" he said. he took two coconuts and put them inside the bag. he opened one and drank its sweet juice inside and left the last one near a big rock then he took a swim in the water.

After he was finished relaxing, he readily prepared everything he needed in his journey and as he was about to step on the deserts sand a monster came out from below and warned him that if he goes out of the oasis the monster will kill him. The monster is big and it body is made out of sand and it won't let shiro escape.

"It seem like this monster is the guardian of this oasis or something and he doesn't want me to escape huh?"Shiro said to himself. he thought about the situation and planed on something to escape. He tried to negotiate with the monster first but the monster doesn't want anything from him so he decided to escape by force. he sat down thought of a plan and then set to motion. First Shiro steped on the sand so the monster got angry and started to attack. 

Shiro dodged the first attack and because of that the monster got even more angry and after a while shiro noticed something thing.  he noticed that the monster keeps attacking him on a distant and doesn't really goes inside the oasis.

"It seems to me that this monster is afraid of something inside the oasis, but what is it?". As he said that, he discovered that the monster was afraid of the water from the oasis but he already knows that it would be really hard to bring a water and splash it on the monster without a bucket or something to hold a water in it. While he's dodging the monsters attacks, He saw the coconut he put near the big rock earlier and came up with an idea.

He sprinted towards the big rock and took the coconut and then throwed it at the monster. the monster sliced the coconut in half and the coconuts juice splashed on to its face. the coconuts juice melted the monsters face.

While the monster was screaming in pain shiro immediately grab his bag and ran towards the opposite direction. At last he escaped the guardian's wrath without any injuries and while he was walking, he was thinking about how he managed to move like that. As he thought about that he came across a town, a broken down town but few people still live in it. "It seems like a ghost town in here" he said to himself while being cautious. most of the towns houses where destroyed and many people are living hellishly....
