Jimin climbs back into his room through the window, landing on the floor with a thud. He stands up, freezing when his gaze catches his mother's as she sits in his desk chair waiting. Jimin know he's screwed, he's messed up big time.
"Where are you sneaking off to Jimin?" She asks, crossing her arms over her chest as she studies Jimin's appearance, trying to see if she can catch anything out of the ordinary. She doesn't notice the one thing that isn't vert obvious. The slippers, but who really notices that out of everything.
"The library. duh," Jimin laughs nervously, knowing he's been caught red handed for sneaking off through his window.
"Do you think I'm stupid, Jimin? So you're telling me that you went to the library, wearing your pajamas and slippers? really Jimin?"
"Fine, I went to visit next door." There isn't any harm in that so what can his mother possibly say about that? everything's innocent, right?
"Why are you so interested in those older boys Jimin?" Jimin wants to chuckle because well... why wouldn't he be when he lives next to four, very attractive and older boys.
"Because I like the- I mean I like to hang out with them. They're really cool and fun to chill with."
"I don't want you hanging out with them, especially this Yoongi boy you keep talking to."
"You don't want me hanging out with anyone, mom. I need to socialize."
"And no more sneaking out, if I have to bolt up that damn window, I will."
Jimin crosses his arms, glaring at his mother. A bitch needs to breathe, what does she expect him to do, create his own oxygen. He wants to bite back a sarcastic comeback but he knows he'll probably be more than in trouble for it.
"You have never acted this way until you started hanging out with this Yoongi boy."
"I'm just sick of you treating me like a child," Jimin sighs.
He doesn't want to fight with his mother anymore and was hoping they could negotiate on something. anything.
"Mom, I really want to go out, and have things to do. I want to have time to be a teen, do the things that I want to do... you know I'm a good kid, I've never done anything wrong and I don't plan on it." Jimin pleads with doe eyes as he tries to show his mother how much he wants to have more freedom. She sits there for a couple seconds, thinking things over, weighing the pros and cons of letting loose a little more on the reigns."I promise I won't do anything bad, I have never and will never get in trouble, please."
"I want whats best for you, Jimin."
"And you give the best that you can, if I just... got time to go out and hang with Taehyung and Jungkook, even Yoongi Hyung.""Jimin..."
"Please?"
"I want you to be able to get out more and do things, I just worry a lot.""We can start slow, I don't need anything right away," Jimin says, sitting down on the bed across from the chair his mother resides in.
"good, I think thats something we can compromise on, because you're still not getting your phone back for a while, especially with this business of you sneaking out your window."
"I understand."
His mother stands up now, a slight twitch of the corner of her lips that Jimin can admit that it was the smallest of smiles coming from her.
"Now that we've dealt with that, I'm going out to the market, I'll be home later," she says and Jimin nods as she ruffles his hair. "now that I'm letting you do more things don't be going out and causing mischief, understand?" His mother jokes and Jimin smiles, he thought his mother was only strict not someone who could actually joke around.
"No promises."

There's a knock on the front door and Jimin walks down stairs, opening it to find jungkook there, a frown embedded on his face"I need to talk to you," he says and Jimin nods, opening the door wider. He's confused to why Jungkook is here, usually he gives a little warning before his arrivals but Jimin figures if it wasn't for his phone being taken away, he would've known.
"Your mom won't mind?"
"Pretty sure she won't, I kind of made a compromise with her," Jimin says as jungkook walks in. Jimin closes the door behind them as they walk toward the living room.
"What's up?" He asks sitting down on the couch, patting the seat next to him as Jungkook sits down beside him, still with a small frown on his face. Jimin's concerned and curious about it.
"Taehyung won't shut up about that guy, and I don't know what to do," jungkook sighs.
