CHAPTER TWELVE

(HARRY'S POV)

They found them. They actually found them. I couldn't belive it when Niall and Louis told me after I was done in the studio, but once I came home and saw Zayn's face, I knew it was true. Willow wasn't going to be with us much longer.

It was so hard to put on a happy face for her. She didn't have a clue as to what was going on and it was killing me inside to know that she was going to leave us. And from the way that she reacted sometimes showed that something had gone wrong with her past. It didn't necessarily mean it involved her parents, but there was a chance that it could've.

Right now, all six of us were sitting on the couches watching Spongebob, except five of us weren't exactly paying attention as to what was happening in the episode. While Willow was giggling as Spongebob pretended to be the hall monitor in Bikini Bottom, the rest of us stared at the TV with different emotions. Even Louis, who had warned us about not getting to close to the girl because he knew that this would happen, seemed out of it. Our heads hadn't wrapped around the fact that Willow wasn't going to be here in 48 hours.

Willow eventually turned her head towards me as she laughed at Patrick dropping his ice cream on Spongebob, hoping to see that I was laughing too. But once she noticed my blank face, she crawled up into my lap and brought her fingers to the corners of my lips to turn my straight line into a smile. This got me to chuckle a bit at how she always was trying to make us happy, but my heart hurt even more knowing that she had no idea about what was going to happen.

This kept going on for awhile, until noon came around and everyone was hungry for lunch. Liam offered to make us sandwiches and Willow let out a little happy squeal as she ran over to the kitchen to help him, with him adding "The Peanut and Payno are back in action," which made her giggle. I could see that Liam was upset, but he was trying to make the most of it. But he probably was also so upset, because he had just been starting to grow closer with Willow, and now she was being ripped away from us.

The rest of us sat down at the table, waiting for Liam and Willow to finish our sandwiches. Niall was staring at the table, Zayn was scrolling through stuff on his phone, Louis was playing with his fingers, all of them completely out in space. Each of their faces held the same multiple emotions, and I'm pretty sure mine did as well. How did this little girl manage to have this effect on us in just a few days?

Once they were done making the sandwiches, they brought all of the plates over to the table. Willow placed a plate in front of me, and I gave her a gracious smile, "Thank you love." She smiled back and plopped herself down into the seat next to mine.

Everyone ate in complete silence. We didn't know what to say, and even if we did, we wouldn't know how to say it. It was easy for Willow because she didn't know what was going on, so she sat and easily ate her sandwich without a care in the world. I didn't even know how we were going to tell her and how she would react. Would she cry, be upset, or do nothing? I doubt that she would do nothing, because there was something that happened before we found her, something that I wanted to find out.

Even though its only been a few days, it still felt like she belonged with us. Paul even went and bought some clothes for her for the time being once we told him what was going on. She just fit in so well into our "family," I couldn't imagine her leaving us.
