Your arrival,
something that caught me off guard.
Wanting to know what god created you,
And how can I get one?

When you would prance across the halls, lost souls that lingered felt unworthy
they also knew about the existing poets
& how they'd rearrange the stars in image of your beauty.

I dare not stare you in the eyes
In fear of how long
I'd might get lost in them.
I live for moments to make you smile,
it's something I can't get enough of.

A colored skin so delicate
Smooth, with a mixture of smells,
An aroma so enticing
Mistook it for honey and rose petals.

I only pray to savor the day
where your lips Invite me to come in.
I'd wait for ages for the chance
To taste such fruit that's forbidden.

Yet I play a fool's game
when around you
And can't confess my love
So, I write the words in the sky
Hoping one day that you'll look up.
