Chapter 11

Jasmine's pov

(The following day after meeting Latoya)

reminiscing while still in bed...

"...You've got an amazing voice, hopefully, we'll sing a duet together..."

I never thought that my day would end so well, after what I've been through with Jacob, there seems to be some light at the end of the dark tunnel...not in that way lol, I'm straight AF, I am team guys, not team girls.

After that whole reminiscing session, I woke up and did my daily hygiene routine then I wore my simple little black dress with some sandals then I added some light makeup and tied my hair in a poofy high bun.

I went downstairs for breakfast and found my mom and dad making out, almost like they were about to swallow each other...yeah that's not such a beautiful site to see

*clearing my voice

Dad: "Oh, I didn't see you there my angel!" *chuckling 

Jasmine: "Come on guys get a room!, it's too early for such" *laughing

Mom: "hmm girl one day when you find the right man you'll understand, a girl's gotta do what she's gotta do to keep her man!"

Jasmine: "TMI mom!"

Mom: "Oh please, stop being so dramatic, you know these things...where are you going al dressed up miss?" *looking at her up and down

Dad: "Yeah honey, I was about to ask her"

Jasmine: "Guys chill, I'm going to school today, that's all...and mom don't give me that look"

Mom: "Is there a young man that we're gonna meet soon my baby?"

Jasmine: "There's no one mom!, I'll tell you when there is, which I doubt" *laughing

My parents can be so nosey sometimes damn! but I still love them, I hope that one day I'll also have the type of marriage that they have. I wonder what Latoya's up to right now...wait what?! why the fuck am I even thinking about her? she is a nice girl and all but she only qualifies to be in the friendzone.

After having breakfast, I drove to campus while blasting Floetry's 'Say yes' I may be young, but I'm an old school child man, I just love old school music. I don't know why, but I started myself being with Latoya to the point where I didn't even see the robot turn green, I had to be woken by the sound of cars hooting behind me lol.

As I arrived on campus, I found Vee waiting for me with a raised eyebrow, this girl can be so crazy at times...

"Hey girrrrl"

"Hey girl, hmmm looks like someone is trying to impress a certain special someboooodyyyy, turn around and let me see that booty girl!" *laughing

"I'm not trying to impress anybody! I just happened to come across this dress of mine in my wardrobe and decided to wear it, that's all!" *laughing

"hmm okay if you say so..."

While we were still talking, Michelle pulled up...

"Hey, guys!"

"Heyyyyy" *in unison

"Hmm I see your car is back"

"Yeah, I'm so happy to have my baby back! Going with Latoya is nice though I don't wanna lie, but I got tired of her making me late"

Michelle has always been a perfectionist, she never wants to be late, ever! lol

"Soooo does that mean that we won't be seeing Latoya anymore?"

"Uhm I'm not sure Vee, she'll probably come to see one of us, I'll ask her"

I was disappointed that I won't see Latoya anytime soon, she's a really nice person, maybe I should just forget about seeing her ever again...

"Jasmine, are you okay girl?"

"Yes I'm fine guys, I just have a headache and I think I'm catching a cold..." *smiles faintly
