"Why does the first semester have to start today?!" I said to my mom while dragging my feet to the bathroom to get ready for school, something that I wasn't even ready for. "You've had a waaaaayyyyy too long holiday, I really couldn't wait for this day to come, my poor fridge will take a break from you opening it every two minutes, your dad will also have some peace and quiet from your singing." I laughed with my mom while putting some toothpaste on my toothbrush. I have always loved singing for some odd reason to the point where I joined many choirs, I've even lost count. Now back to this horrible day...
After showering, I got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast, finding my mom eating and my dad reading his newspaper. "Morning dad" my dad looked up from his newspaper and said: "It's about time." jokingly. I laughed while rolling my eyes and had some cereal then I drove off to campus.
