Friends??!!

Later in the evening, Vikas was in his room, which he shared with his roommates Ashish and Pritam. Both of them were busy on their phones, chatting. Vikas was holding a book in his hand, but was not studying. He was still thinking that how a girl, he had never seen before could trance him into thinking about her all the time. He remembered her face, those innocent brown eyes holding an emotion of sincerity. Her face, even brighter than the sunshine and Her lips, trembling before talking to him. He didn't realise that when did he started to admire that stranger. After an hour, he sighed and muttered under his breath, "Vaise dekhne mein uss type ki to nhi lagi..." He looked up from his book, on which he hadn't focused even for a second, and found that both his friends were sitting in front of him, gazing towards him. Ashish asked, "Kya baat hai Vikas?? Tabiyat to theek hai na teri.. Kab se dekh rhe hai, ajeeb behave kar rha hai!" Before he could answer, Pritam said, "Haa bhai, bas kitaab khol k baitha hai, padh nhi rha.. Ye kaise??" They started bombarding him with such questions, he finally answered, "Kuchh nhi yaar, ghar ki yaad aa rhi hai!" His Pritam said, "Kya yaar, hum hai na! Dukhi mat ho!" And they had a group hug!

Next day
Vikas was coming out of his classroom after attending a lecture, he was indulged in the books in his hands, but suddenly his eyes fell on her... She looked like an angel on Earth! He looked at her coming with her friend, unknown of being watched, for a moment and then he hid himself behind a pillar! He was too shy to face her and when he thought she had gone, he peeped from behind the pillar. He couldn't see her, but suddenly someone tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and to his surprise it was the person he was trying to hide from! It was her!! He refused to look directly into her eyes, feeling so awkward and shy. After a couple of minutes, Wiping off the shyness, she finally spoke, "Mujhe aapse kuchh baat karni thi..." He looked at her. She continued, "Mujhe pata hai ki kal jo bhi hua, aap mujhe galat samajh rhe honge, but uss mein meri koi galati nhi thi.. Vo Rocky hai na, usne mujhe ye sab karne k liye kaha tha. I'm really sorry!" He asked out of curiosity, "Rocky ne? Magar kyu" She explained her first encounter with him and it irritated him beyond any limit! He looked around, found Rocky and called him to the place where both of them were standing. He said, "Ye sab kya hai Rocky! Ye bechari 1st day college aayi aur tumne iske saath.." He pointed his finger towards him and said in a warning tone, "Aagey se agar tune kisi bhi ladki k saath... Ladki kya, agar kisi k bhi saath aisa kiya na, to mujhse bura koi nhi hoga!! Aur iss ladki k agar aas paas bhi tu mujhe dikh gya na, to tu soch le.. College se rusticate karwa dunga!" Rocky gave a bitter look to Shilpa, eyed her and fled from the scene. Vikas said, "Ab aaj k baad vo tumhe kabhi pareshaan nhi karega!" She said, "Thank you very much" she held out her hand and said, "I'm Shilpa! Nice to meet you!" He shaked hands with her and said, "I'm Vikas! It's good to see you.. Aur agr labhi bhi koi tumhe pareshaan karta hai na, to seedha mujhe batana! Kisi teacher k paas jaane ki zaroorat nhi hai! Just tell me!" She smiled and nodded in yes! She was very impressed by the way he protected her in front of a boy troubling her. He was so brave and didn't even think twice before bashing that boy and that too for a girl he had met for the first time. She couldn't sleep the entire night thinking of their first official meeting. On the other hand, Vikas was thinking about her too! Only her thoughts were accompanied by feelings of anger and hatred towards Rocky! But still both admired each other secretly and dreamily!
