The First Day of School
It's the first day of high school and I am so nervous. I have sweaty palms and I can't even focus right. My mom asked me what I want for breakfast and you won't believe what I said. I said I wanted pickles. At least I had my dog with me through all of this. He is so nice and he never bites me. He is the best puppy I could ever ask for. You are probably wondering what his name is, well it is Sam.
Here it goes walking through the front door. Actually it wasn't has bad as I thought. There were so many nice people greeting me. My teachers were so nice as well and I can't wait to be with them till the end of the year. Everything was swell until...
I get a call from the office saying I am going home. This was so embarrassing, I was the only one going home early that day. I couldn't even talk to anyone nor make any friends, this was horrible. When I make it down to the office I ask my mom why she picked me up early. She acted really weird. She said, "Alexa don't worry about it just GET IN THE CAR!"
That was when I started to worry. I hoped everything was ok. I hoped that Sam was ok. When we got to the house my mom rushed me. She took me to a secret room I never knew about. I asked if everything was ok with Sam. I didn't see him when I walked in. She responded in a crackling voice, "I lost Sam, I was coming home from work and when I was opening the door he just dashed out."
I was so sad that I could barely take it in. She continued, "Your dad is trying to find him now has we speak." Once I heard that I started crying like crazy, what if he doesn't find him, what if he is lost forever. I had a plan the next afternoon, after school I will sneak out of the house and find Sam.
The Next Day
I wake up and I go to school. I hoped that today would be better than yesterday. And it was, I found a new friend and many acquaintances. I can't wait to find more friends. When the school day was over I nearly forgot about my plan because I had such a good day of school. I am ready for my plan and finding Sam.
