Chapter 21

No one's P.O.V

Cuphead raced to Bendy's humble home, cursing words on the way. He would bump into a person to a person and to a person but he would kept going. He knew if he'll take too long to get there.. he might never see Bendy again..

And the last thing he did was hurt him.

"BENDY?!" he called out while knocking on their door rapidly. He was panting really heavily and his adrenaline was still kicking in. No one answered the door, "BENDY! Please!! Answer the door!!" Cuphead yelled while still banging the door..

'am I too late?' he thought to himself before he curled up into a ball and cried. He knew he was an idiot for not fighting back against the cheerleader. They even kissed. In front of Bendy.

"You fucking stupid idiot!!" He cursed out loud while hitting his own bowl. But soon his gaze shot up when he heard a locking sound from the door, 'its bendy..' he thought.

He stood up from where he was curled up and lay his head on the door, "Bendy.. listen.. I know you're behind this door.. and I know.. I did something.. very wrong." He started while his heart was beating so fast, "and.. I know.. you hated me for it.. but.. please.. listen.." Cuphead pleaded to the person behind the door.

It was Bendy, curled up behind the door and he was... Melting. Yes, they were going to move because Henry found a way to get their show back... But it is also because they needed the money to get enough ink for Bendy and Alice to live longer.

Bendy looked down at the puddle of ink he was in. It was hard for him to see and breath.. he wanted to see Cuphead.. talk to him. But his afraid he couldn't.

"Those kisses you saw?.. those weren't real.. she did those on purpose... I wanted to fight back.. but mr. felix said if I'll ever cause trouble again.. I'll be suspended or worse.. expelled!" Cuphead explained, Bendy covered his mouth when he heard Cuphead's sobs and hitched breaths behind the door.

"I'm sorry.. I was stupid a stupid cup.. and I'm sorry for assuming you and Mugs were dating... I'm really sorry. Please.. open the door.. Bendy.. I wanna see you, hug you and even kiss you.."

Bendy felt a blush creep on his face, he smiled gently and stood up. He reached for the doorknob..

But was interrupted by a cough, not just a cough.. a painful one. Cuphead heard from behind so he started to panic and twist the doorknob to open the door.

But Bendy refused to unlock it, "I'm.. sorry.." Bendy whispered as he went to the back door. He was melting very fast that his feet couldn't keep up from standing.

He crawled to the backyard where he met a melting Alice, panicked Boris and Henry inside the moving truck. Boris quickly hopped off the truck and took Bendy in his arms.

"Come on! Let's move!" He yelled as he jumped on the truck holding Bendy tight, "shh.. bro just calm down. You're gonna be fine.." he whispered to Bendy softly while crying. Cuphead however heard a loud thud from the inside so he decided to kick open the door.

When the door broke open, Cuphead saw nothing inside the house.. it was emtpy. His eyes widened when he realized that he was standing in a puddle of ink and it was leading to the back door. Soon he heard a engine starting so he quickly raced to the sound. He found a truck with Henry, Alice, Boris and Bendy inside.

"Wait!" He yelled as the truck driver started to drive. Boris shot his head up when he heard Cuphead and glanced down at his brother who was completely collapsed in his arms, "......I'm sorry." Boris mouthed as he closed the truck window to prevent Cuphead's shouting to be heard.

Cuphead was chasing the truck from behind, "please! Listen!!" He yelled as he ran faster, he soon hear his left leg crack but he didn't mind and continued to run.

Causing for it to completely break off, he fell down on the ground really hard that his arms formed cracks. He grunt in the unbearable pain.

But the truck driver drove faster... leaving Cuphead in the middle of the road with a bloody broken leg and a hurting heart. People quickly called an ambulance when they saw Cuphead. Some helped him up and some held on to his leg until the ambulance came.

Cuphead however stayed quiet for the whole time.. he was just too shock.. surprised and scared. He failed so bad and now bendy was gone.. forever.

As they drove him to the hospital all he did was mumble 'I'm too late' over and over again. When he was put on anesthesia he kept on saying, "I'm never going to see him again! Because I was stuuuuuuupid!" And he kept shooting things.

So the doctors put restraints around his body to prevent him from killing anyone, Mugman soon came and comforted his brother while Cuphead's legs was glued back to him. He had several cracks on his body causing them to apply glue to all of it.

He looked at Mugman in the process, "I failed brother.. he's gone! And I saw him melting!!!" Cuphead said while laughing. To the fact that he was still on anesthesia Mugman still couldn't contain his tears. He buried his face on Cuphead's chest and cried.

"Don't worry.. it's okay bro.."

Mugman whispered that soon put Cuphead to sleep.
