Another maybe 3 hours later we stop. Bri and I sit quietly, waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever does. I check my phone to call someone for help but it's dead, so I tell Bri to check hers. But sadly it's dead too. So we go to sleep, hoping this is just some bad dream and that maybe when we wake uo we'll be at home, sleeping in our beds.

The next morning
I awake to the sound of the engine starting. I sit up to try to see whats going on or where we are to find I'm chained to the floor, and so is Abbie. Did they find our phones? I check to see if mine is where I left it. It's not. What's going to happen? Is our punishment going to be worse now? I'm  just going to try and sleep. Maybe Abbie will be up by then. I'm shooken awake sometime later by Abbie, telling me about the chains.
Back in their hometown
"Tom!" Abbie's mom calls. "What?" says Tom. "Where's Abbie?" "She went to Bri's house last night. She's not back yet?" "No she's not. I'll call her." Alice, Abbie's mom calls Abbie only for it to go straight to voicemail. Alice sits and thinks then rememers she has Bri's number too. Unfortunately, that goes straight to voicemail as well.

Twenty minutes earlier
I awake to hear complete silence in the house. Abbie should be up by now. Why is it so quiet? She's so clumsy she's usually falling up and down the stairs. I begin to think she didn't set her alarm, so I walk into her room to wake her up. She's not there so I calk Tom.

I walk down the sidewalk at school. It's Wednesday, May 5th and Bri's bus pulls up at the same time as usual, 8:00. I run to her bus to see her after everything on Friday, but she doesn't get off. Where is she?

It is now day six of our kidnapping. We stopped driving 3 days ago, which is also the last time we ate food other than little pieces of candy here and there. Yes, they gave us candy but onlt enough to survive off of. A jolly rancher or a warhead here and there. I was beginning to think nobody would find us. It had almost been a week, my parents would be home tomorrow if they hadn't come back already.  Then I remembered a show I watched it's called "Three Days Left" it's about people getting kidnapped or abducted and how it's not likely they'll be alive after three days. What if they think Abbie and I are dead? Are they still looking for us?
