Voicemail

Chapter 9

Bri's P.O.V.
7 hours earlier
     Where's Abbie? The last thing I remember is eating and falling asleep. I sit up and look around. I'm not in the same room anymore.
John's P.O.V. (Bri's Dad)
     "Bri! We're home!" John calls up the stairs. The completely silent house leaves John wondering. If Bri were here he would be able to hear her music from here. He looks around for anything that might show where she is. Then he sees Abbie's bookbag on the floor near the couch, so he calls Abbie thinking she might know but it goes straight to voicemail. Then he tries Matt, maybe they went out for lunch. But Matt says he hasn't seen her for days. Although sounding a bit guilty, he hangs up. "Sophie!"
"What honey?"
"Have you heard from Bri?"
"No, why?"
"She's not here. Abbie's phone is dead and Matt doesn't know where she is. I'm worried."
"I'm sure she'll be back soon. She's probably out getting food or doing homework with some friends. I'll call some people she's close to." "Okay, I'll go unpack the car."
Sophie's P.O.V.
     After calling multiple people and nobody hear g from her I remember she has Jace's number on her desk. I walk into her room and it looks like nobody's been in here for days. I walk to her light purple, neatly organized desk and dig through her papers to find Jace's number. After a couple minutes I find the number and type it into my phone. Then I hit the call button. I didn't know if he'd answer but he answered right away. "Hello?" he says, "Who's this?"
"This is Brianna Foster's mother, have you heard from Brianna lately? My husband and I haven't heard from her since we left."
"No I'm so sorry Mrs. Foster, I haven't heard from her. In fact I haven't seen her since Friday. I'll let you know if I hear anything though."
"Okay, thanks. Goodbye."
"Bye Mrs. Foster."
Friday? That's six days ago! Six! Where's my daughter? I call the police and report  to missing. They says there's two missing girls now. And the other one is Abbie..
