Episode 11- When Thy Clash

Miles jumped down and walked under a local bridge, where a lot of tramps and homeless people stayed, he held a polythene bag in his hands, he walked over to a girl and handed it to her.

"Hey Elena, this was what I was able to get, couldn't steal anything because of the cops, I had to search a dumpster.

Elena put her hand in as she collected the bag from him and brought out a piece of bread, half way eaten, quickly she dipped her teeth into it, after a few bites she looked at her brother, " aren't you gonna eat? she asked.

"Naa you eat, I'm not that hungry, still got that pie from yesterday right here", Miles replied tapping his stomach, Elena laughed. Miles sat down beside her, he looked worried as he heaved a heavy sigh.

Elena put her hands on him, " don't worry we'll make it to the Shade", she said, Miles nodded.

Over the bridge, a car parked, ken got down. "Now remember, be gentle", Amar said.

" I'll try to be", ken replied as he went over the edge of the bridge, he jumped down and slid, then he stands and dusts off leaves from his jacket. He walks under the bridge, he looks around to identify the kid, he sees a boy and a girl cuddled up in a corner, that should be him, he walks over to the kids.

Both kids looked at the man standing over them, "who are you? What do you want?

Ken bent down, he gave a friendly smile and said, " I know who you are Miles, you and your sister have been over the news", he sees the kid trying to pull his hand out. "No need to do that, I'm a special just like you, see", the cards float from his chest pocket and formed a circle", Miles put his hands down. Ken who was satisfied, stopped the cards and continued, " you both are not safe here, I hold a group of specials, keep them safe, I work with Shade, if you've heard".

"You mean Shade, the resistance, you know the resistance", Elena asked.

" Yea, and I got a car on the bridge waiting, my buddy is in it, we've got to go", ken added.

Elena was about to stand up when ken held her back, "how do we know you are not lying".

Ken stood up, well you just have to trust ... Rat tat at tat tat rat, bullets rushed under the bridge. " Go go go ", ken shouted.

Agents Felicity and Wikky were holding guns as they walked in. "Surrender guys", Felicity shouted as she shot another bullet to the ceiling.

" Come on let's go", ken shouted as they ran away.

Wikky saw them running and shouted, "over there", he wanted to chase after them as the place was in pandemonium.

Felicity held him back, " I got this", she said as she pointed her gun and set her finger on the trigger.

"You think you can hit them through this crowd", Wikky asked.

" Hmm, they don't call me the tiger for nothing", Felicity said as he pulled the trigger, the bullet passed through two civilians and hit ken on the leg.

"Arrgh", Ken cried out in pain, he falls down. Miles stopped and turned as his arms heated up, the other froze, " let's kill them", he shouted.

"No no no", ken said as he stood up, "we've got to go", he said. Elena and Miles helped him as they all ran off. When they got to the cliff, ken controlled his cards as they stuck on the kids, then he lifted them up. Once they got up, the cards came down to him and lifted him up, he landed down and groaned.

" Are you okay? Elena asked.

"I've endured worst, come on let's go, it's that car", Ken shouted as they ran to the car, Amar was already waving at them. They were almost near the car when a missile hit the car from behind and it blew up in flames.
