Same Day
Jophiels POV

5:15 pm

"Phi,! Wake Up!" I heard koko say as she shook me, while standing onside of my bed.
"Auntie Daniellee, and Cici here, they already started on Liyah, and Ari" she continued saying.
"Ight I'm up" I groaned as i stretched from the power cat nap, I had just taken.
I couldn't help but feeling the butterflies that had intensified even more since this morning.
Being nervous was a understatement I was ready, I had been ready for this moment.
"Come on", koko called out as we walked down the same hallway down the steps to the "Tea Room" My mom liked to call it.
It really was just a woman version of my dads man cave where we gossiped and had girls night at least once a month with all the women including My Nana, and Mema.

The room had mirrors and Vanity's along one of the purple walls, message beds, a bar , purple couches, and lastly a Sauna. Crazy I know, but as I got older I grew to appreciate getting in the Sauna and sweating all of my problems out over time.
"Hey Teedy's" I spoke to all of them instead of going one by one.
"Hey baby" some said while others nodded while smiling.
"Hey Nana and Mema", I said as I hugged and kissed each of their cheeks.
"Hey Suga", "Hey my Phi Phi" I laughed as I heard them call me the nicknames I had gotten from them since I was young.
I went, and sat in the chair in front one of the other vanity's that was next to Ari who was getting her hair pulled back in a side donut with a side swoop bang.

Ari had gotten her hair curled and roller wrapped earlier so it was easy to style it that way. Aaliyah was just finishing up getting her make up done and her and Ari were switching chairs.
As my aunt Daniellee unwrapped Aaliyah's hair the whole room gasped. Aaliyah had did the big chop and my brother was gonna go crazy I thought to myself as I chuckled.
Once liyah realized all eyes were on her , her eyebrows knitted together and her face scrunched up in confusion, until she realized we all were looking at her hair. Liyah busted out laughing and was trying not to smear her mascara that was about to start running from her laughing so much.
"It's a sew-in y'all," she barely was able to get out. My aunt Azeri , and both grandmas let out a breath , I bet they didn't even know they were holding.

I couldn't help but laugh with her along with everyone else. After Cici got done with Ari's Makeup I got in the chair she just was in.
"How do you want your makeup Phi," Cici asked me. I showed her the picture of how I wanted and I sat back and let her work her magic.

Let's go" ,Me, Raph, Khari, and Kayden rapped along to Wayne's sorry for the wait mixtape, as we started getting dressed for the prom as we smoked a blunt that was passed around the four of us. Good thing my room was by it self on its own floor. I made sure the windows were open tho, I ain't need my moms trying to put her hands on me, because I had that "Loud Shit" in her house without airing it out.
The girls would have our heads if we were a minute late. We had to to be there by 7:00 pm to pick the girls up, and it was 6:20pm right now .
I made sure my white shirt was tucked in properly with no wrinkles, and that I had my gold cuff links in the right way. I was gonna wait to put my "Plum" as Phi would call it Blazer on.
"Man how I look?" Raphael asked me as he buttoned his Olive green blazer while looking in the mirror at hisself.
"My bro fresh af," I yelled out gassing him up as he came and dapped me with us both laughing.
Time started moving fast, it was 6:40 now and we had to be making our way back to Raph's house.
"Y'all ready,?" Kayden dressed in a white floral,blue and black blazer,with black fitted pants asked me and Raphael since we were the only ones left in my room.
"Yea let me grab my blazer" I told him.
Once I had my blazer on, and gun tucked in the back of my pants I did a double take in my mirror to make sure everything was fixed like I Wanted it . I knew the bow tie I had on, that Phi begged me to wear, would be ripped off after all these pictures were taken and we left the house. Ties just weren't my thing. Felt like a leash around my neck and I was nobody's dog.
We finally made it down stairs and Khari was waiting by his black Mercedes Benz Jeep for us to come out, with his all white blazer, bow tie,shirt and black fitted slacks , I Knew Ari had picked that all out ,she loved white.
We finally got in our trucks, Raph in mines,and Kayden in the truck with Khari ready to head out.
