Chapter 9

Jophiel's  POV

Graduation Day
8:00 a.m

Hearing my alarm go off I couldn't help but feel the butterflies that were starting to form. It was the day I had been waiting on for forever. I was graduating and I couldn't help but feel relief that it all was over! Don't get me wrong I miss high school already but I was ready for this new journey life had to offer.

As I finally got myself together and out the bed I went to make sure Ari was up being that she was up all night since she couldn't sleep. She was graduating a year early since she had been in honors and got all her credits. I know she was still down and out since her and Khari hadn't really talked since last week when the incident took place. Hopefully today would cheer her up cause I hate to see my la baby in her feelings like that.

"Ariiiiiiii,! Wake uppppp!" I sung to her as I jumped on the bed with her.
"Moveee Phi" she groaned.
"Get up ! Mama fixing breakfast for us."

That's all I had to say to get her up. I couldn't help but laugh my mama really had some greedy kids.
After Ari got her self together we walked into to the kitchen see almost all our family laughing and talking and eating breakfast.
"Good morning my sleeping beauties" my dad yelled out as he greeted us with a bear hug and kiss to the forehead. As long as I can remember my dad always greeted us like that no matter the time or place. He loved his baby girls which made me understand his reasoning even the more.

"Heyyy everybody!" we both said while hugging and kissing all of our family as we entered the room. I don't know if it's just a down south thing but that's how we were as a family we really showed love to one another.

I finally found a seat after piling my plate with waffles, eggs, turkey bacon and potatoes with a bowl of strawberries on the side. Call me fat I don't care , ya girl knew how to eat!

I scanned the room while everyone was engaging in conversation and didn't see my zuri or Khari. I know Ari was bummed about that but was trying to keep her composure.

Just as I thought bout him his bighead self was walking through the door carrying flowers in one hand and a zales bag in the other.

"Hey babeh that's for me,?" My Nana CC short for Milcah, asked zuri in her strong New Orleans accent as he greeted her with a hug and kiss on the cheek.
"Nah Nana this for my other lady" he said while laughing and smirking at me .
I was happy I had these black silk pajamas on cause you would have been able to see the puddle forming just by him smirking at me.

I was knocked out of my thoughts by him bear hugging me with his head in the crook in my neck.
"Wassup babeh" he said while kissing my cheek.
"These for you" he said while handing me the roses and gift bag.
I could help but notice both my nana's, aunts and best friends watching with eager eyes to see what Azure had gotten me.

Once I opened the bag and pulled the rectangle box out and opened it , it had to be the most beautiful heart diamond shaped necklace I had seen ever. My jaws were starting to hurt by how hard I was smiling.

"I loveeeee itttt zuriiiiii" I stressed while hugging him tight as he laughed at me for calling his name like that.
"You welcome love" he said while kissing my forehead.

"Aaawwwwww" was all we heard as we bust out laughing at my girls who were watching our every move.

"Shows over" I laughed while getting up and grabbing Ari's hand so we could go get dressed as Koko and liyah followed.

The Event place
9:30 a.m

Koko POV

It was almost time for our graduation ceremony to start and I couldn't help but thank God, Cause a week ago I didn't know if I would be here so I was beyond grateful.
"Phiii come on!" I screamed to my Bestfriend so we could take a selfie.
"Wait how does my hair look?" I asked.
"Ko it looks good the blonde really fits you!"
I couldn't help but beam in happiness .
"Graduates line up!" Mrs.Smith our favorite teacher screamed breaking me away from thoughts.
I couldn't help but tear up looking at my girls, Raph and Khari In our cap and gowns.
As we came in for a group hug between all of us you could hear light sniffling coming from me and my girls we had finally made it and the feeling was priceless!
"I love y'all," I said as I hurried up and hugged each one of them so we could get in line.
It was showtime now!

Jophiel POV

We had finally done it we graduated all with 3.5 or higher! I couldn't be more proud of all us, and I know our parents were even more proud!

"Congratulations babeh" zuri said while kissing me where no one could see us since we were in a big crowd full of graduates and their families. Aside from my parents he's the first person I wanted to see, he was more than my boyfriend now he was truly my best friend and he knew how much today meant to me. All the late night convos about this moment hear and the feeling I had was indescribable.
"Congratulations babies!" My mom screamed running to hug me, Ari and Raph in a big group hug. You could hear her tearing up as she squeezed us while telling us how proud she was her three babies did it.
My daddy was next as he pick both me and Ari up like we were still 2 and 3 years old. All i could do was laugh, as his smile said it all.
"I'm proud of y'all, I knew y'all could do it" he said while kissing our foreheads after putting us down.
Hearing that from my dad just solidified what I was feeling even the more , everybody knew how I felt about my dad.
After hugging and kissing everyone it was time for pictures!
As me and my girls posed with our arms linked around each other, with our backs to our family we all looked at each other with so much joy and happiness. Cause this is only the beginning for us.
But tonight we were about to TURN UP!!!!!!!!
