The big day

The big day arrived. To prepare, I didnt eat anything for breakfast. I must admit, I was a little bit scared but I could handle it.

 I must say, I looked a lot slimer than usual. Then I saw Joe passing by. He looked a lot slimer too. But we will see who will win.

I couldn't wait till lunch when we check our weights. This wll be good.

Finally lunch began. As soon as everyone got their trays, Joe stood up on a table and said, " Now for the moment we've all been waiting for, "Albert's Failure!". I ignored him. Everyone held their breath. They knew this is good. Even Tommy was there too cheer me on. Suprisingly, I felt good.

One of Joe's friends took out a healthometer. " Without further ado let us do this!", Joe said. Joe quickly stepped on the healthometer. We all waited and weighted for the number to come on.

It finally said 147.6. I held my breath. Everyone gasped. Then I went. I stood there feeling as light as possible. I waited and waited until---

It said 147.6.

Everyone gasped in shock. Especially Joe. " Oh my god, how are we going to break this tie!"

That's when Tommy spoke up. "I have an idea. Both of you have 1 minute too exercise as hard as you can until times up.

That sounded fair. Joe surprisingly thought it was fair too so we started. We started when Tommy shouted, GO!

I started running up and down the cafeteria like a animal. But Joe was just doing push ups and jumping jacks. I did this while the other people looked at me crazy. As soon as Tommy said stop, we stopped. Then Joe stepped on the healthometer. We waited and waited until-

When I saw that last number, I jumped up with joy. Tommy jumped to! It was like we were the only people in the room. Everyone was shocked up. Me and Tommy were so happy, we walked out of school like millionaires. I knew we were going to get in trouble but i didn't care. I was too happy.
