"Y—Your house?" she repeated and internally scolded herself for sounding so shocked. She has been to his house before, so it wasn't as if it were uncharted territory. After their last moment—and the moment before that ([y/n]'s dream) and the moment before that (Akira's masterbating)—she could barely function around him. She had no idea how she would get through this.

"Yeah," he said, not really seeing the big deal. "We can walk home together."

"I—I can't," she said apologetically. Since her father picked up Lana on Fridays and Mondays and it was currently Tuesday, she couldn't wait for him. "I have to get Lana."

"I'll go with you," he said with a shrug.

She automatically imagined how awkward it would be walking to the elementary school with him and how embarrassing it would be seeing Lana cling to him. Fiddling with her fingers and avoiding his gaze, she replied, "I—I couldn't ask you to do that. I can just meet you—"

"It's no big deal," he interrupted her, noticing how her eyes looked anywhere that wasn't him and how her cheeks were more red than usual. "Are you trying to avoid me?"

"Of course not," she denied, forcing herself to look him directly in the eye. She grinned at him to prove her words, and he just stared at her questionably, placing a hand on the lockers behind her.

"Is it because of last night?" he asked, leaning. It was then that she realized she was basically caged in between him and the lockers. Her brain could barely think because of how close he was, and her heartbeat quickly accelerated when she felt his warm breath across her blushing face.

"What about last night?" she asked, seeming oblivious, but she remembered exactly what he was talking about. He wasn't referencing his Devilman form (that was the topic of conversation for later); he was bringing up the short talk they had about her feelings.

"You know," he mumbled, and she suddenly couldn't think straight. Her eyes drifted down to his lips, which were nearing hers every second.

"Uh—Um." She pressed herself even farther into the locker, as if it would increase the distance. Her eyes flickered up to his, which were focused on her mouth, and she found him licking his lips. She assumed he was about to place his on hers. She wanted him to.

"Hmm... You're right. We can talk about that later too," he said, pulling away and allowing her to breathe again. What the hell was that? Teasing?

She was about to respond when the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. She walked passed him to head to her next class, but he reached out to grab her wrist, making her stop in her tracks. Leaning closely to her ear, he whispered, "Wait for me by the entrance."

With red cheeks, she nodded and left him to watch her as she walked away.

The entire walk to the elementary school, Akira was silent, and it wasn't until [y/n] finally saw Lana that she felt like she could breathe again. Oddly though, the moment Lana saw Akira, she completely dissed [y/n] and acted as if she didn't even exist.

"Akira!" Lana exclaimed, running up to him with a big smile. He grinned at her, crouching down to her level. [y/n] found Lana's instant attachment to Akira weird but adorable. She was always a grumpy, whiny child, but around Akira, she acted differently.

A first love, maybe? The thought made [y/n]'s heart clench at the cuteness. "We are going to go to Akira's for a little bit, okay? You can play with Taro!"

"What?" she asked, rather sassily. [y/n] knew that Lana wasn't exactly thrilled about Taro, but she has to come since [y/n] had promised to speak with Akira.

"It'll be fun! You both like Devilman," [y/n] said with a happy tone. She heard Akira breathing slightly hitch from beside her, but tried to ignore it and bribe her sister with her favorite tv show. "Akira and I just have... school stuff to work on."

"Hmmph, I'm old enough to know that you guys won't just be doing school work," Lana said with a pout and crossed her arms. [y/n] and Akira both blushed at her comment, and [y/n] immediately denied.

"No, No! We really are—" [y/n] cut herself off and stared at her sister with disbelief. "Wait—What are they teaching you in school?"

"I'm six years old! I know all about kissing!" she said and looked to the side, ignoring her older sister. [y/n] visibly relaxed when she realized that Lana was still as innocent as she appeared. "You're going to make me play with... Taro." She shivered with disgust. "While you kiss! Ew!" [y/n] couldn't tell if the disgust was towards kissing or Miki's younger brother.

"We—We are just studying!" Her poor cheeks couldn't get any redder. Akira's laughing beside her definitely didn't help her overheated face. "I promise!"

"Don't make promises you can't keep, [y/n]," Akira said, finding everything very amusing. Both Lana and [y/n] looked at him with furrowed eyebrows and a look of disgust. With nearly identical expressions, anyone could tell that they were sisters.

"Ewww!"

"What!?" They both exclaimed. Lana's face scrunched at his comment, and [y/n]'s eyes widened and her mouth dropped open.

He simply ignored their reactions and continued to walk. Lana skipped up next to him and held his hand, which he wasn't expecting, and she whispered with evil intentions, "My sister has never even kissed a boy."

"Reall—" he began with interest.

"Lana!"
