prologue

"Holy crap Matt, hurry!"

The black-eyed one whisper-yelled at the vampire as they tried to quietly run down the hallway. Matt was a few steps behind Tom. He was known for being kind of slow, so Tom had to try to hurry Matt along. If they weren't quick, they would be caught.

Tom finally ran over to the exit, and tried to push open the door. It was locked, but that didn't stop Tom from trying to push it open. Eventually, Tom knocked the door down with the strength from his monster side.

"Yes!" Matt whisper-yelled.

Tom grabbed Matt's hand and ran outside. They were now out in the back. Luckily, Tom knew that the guards were probably snoozing, so if they were quiet, they could find their way out.

Tom scanned the area. They were outside where all of the tanks and stuff were. They were also surrounded by the electric fence.

"That's gonna be hard to get over." Tom quietly exclaimed.

Matt picked Tom up, and Tom held back a yelp. The ginger hurried over to the fence, and looked up at it. It was made of barbed wires, and it intimidated both of them. Matt could already feel the pain of electricity going through him.

So, instead, he floated up over the fence and landed on the other side.

It was good being a vampire for once; he had floating powers.

Matt set Tom down. Tom looked up at the Brit, and gave a little smiled.

"Nice."

"Thank you. Now, let's get the hell out of here!"

Tom nodded, and grabbed onto Matt's pale hand. They began running to wherever the night would take them.
